Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomLimited choice of breakfast produce. No cooked meats or cheese (Continental breakfast). Only marmite provided for toast topping-let down by restricted choice . I would have expected marmalade, jam and honey.
Location good. Staff very efficient clearing tables ready for next guests. Breakfast choice could be better ie toast toppings marmite only no marmalade or honey. Continental breakfast consisted of various cereals, yogurt and berry compote. Could have provided selection of fruits.

United KingdomThis hotel offers all you need for a short stay. The room is relatively spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable. There were no issues with noise. Most importantly, the air-conditioning worked perfectly. Like so many hotels nowadays, you're supplied with a ridiculously thick duvet so, in order to sleep comfortably, you need to have the air temperature cold. The a/c in this hotel did the job perfectly. The breakfast was nothing special but very adequate. Although the hotel doesn't have its own car park, there's secure multi-story parking a ten-minute walk away.

United KingdomOur only gripe was the lack of ventilation in the room. A window that you can open would be good but it didn't spoil our stay.
Although from Liverpool, when going for a night out it's sometimes nice not to have to worry about getting home in a taxi hence the stop over. The hotel was centrally located and it was spotless with nice friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The rooms were comfortable with comfy beds and bedding. We were given the option of what floor to be on and we chose 6 which gave us nice views.

Breakfast good - except for scrambled egg!! Was kindly provided fried eggs second morning. Package / brought in scrambled eggs NOT acceptable. Hash browns not properly cooked first morning. Breakfast a very important component of my hotel / travel stops. Needs to be fresh and well cooked. Breakfast is cheap enough to be wsell managed and cooked.

United KingdomJust one thing really, although there was air conditioning, I would liked to have had a window that opened. We were on the 5 floor and it was probably be for safety reasons.
Breakfast was fantastic. Great quality and lots of choice. Staff where very attentive and kept everything clean and well stocked up. Great location for the city. Close to some fantastic restaurants, short walk to Albert Dock and shopping.

ChinaThe room is a little bit small but it’s Holiday Inn Express, I can’t complain it too much, let’s say, it’s standard.
The location is good, wherever you go, shopping or sightseeing on Albert Dock, Cavern Club, Liverpool ONE, just on foot, very relaxed walking experience, you can’t get yourself lost…if you want to enjoy football culture in Anfield, taking a bus in Liverpool ONE station, no pressure!
