I suffer from arthritis and the staff were great in finding me a room on the ground floor. They were very helpful.

Our room was next to the elevator, so we heard the cracking of the steel ropes that are holding it. The rooms were not soundproof either. The rooms looked nice, but the hallway as well as the doors of the hotel rooms are completely outdated. There were also no slippers in the room and had to be requested in reception.

What we really liked and I think that's for everyone the case, is the boat to Canary Wharf.

Closest tube station requires boat transport across the Thames which stops at 2330 Room was a little in the compact size.(Upgrade was available though)

House keeping needed to be reminded to come at 4.30pm and told come after 5 as we were going out but still showed at 4.45 and washed our tea mugs out in the bathroom

Well set up and free ferry to Canary Wharf was a game changer and made access much better! Room was well equipped and bed was great

The staff didn’t tell us that the ferry was free so on both occasions we tapped and paid. It wasn’t we til we saw other people from the hotel with a pass. We asked staff about the ferry times but it was never mentioned.

Slightly tricky to get to but you can use over ground train to Rotherhide easily and the river boat to then go onwards from Canary Wharf pier. I was given a room at the back which was quiet over looking a car park. The moisturiser was revived off the bathroom shelf and the pressure of the water in the toilet chain wasn't very strong, good shower pressure though did think the bathroom window was a bit outdated.

The river view and river boat and breakfast were great, affable staff.

As a whole we felt the room we were allocated was quite small, considering this was a Queen room and in particularly the bathroom! For the price paid, we were expecting better value for money.

Easy to find, staff were friendly and helpful. Car park secure Ferry ideal for crossing over river to clipper, and timings were good!

Only issue encountered was that one of our rooms ( 280 ) was not properly prepared on arrival at approx 2200 with bed unmade and linen on floor. However , this was quickly rectified by the superb staff at reception who were most apologetic and quickly arranged for a transfer to a different room whilst we had a drink at the bar..

Room was very spacious with very comfortable bed. Location on South Side of the Thames was ideal with Canary Wharf very accessible by free ferry from landing stage adjacent to reception. Breakfast was superb with probably the best selection I have ever encountered in an hotel..

Really good location in London for our visit to the O2. The complimentary ferry across the river was a fantastic bonus which saved us time & hassle.

The windows were not clean so the view was less than optimal. The inside of the room around the window seals etc. need a deep cleaning. Contrary to what was written on my booking confirmation there was no refrigerator in the room. The property is aging and the room I stayed in did not have the luxurious feel the photos suggest. The bed is fine for one person but is a smaller queen size so would probably not be comfortable for two persons if they happen to be taller or larger than average.

We were given an incorrect room the first night terrible small disappointment plus and removed the next night which was ok but felt let down no safe working staff were not aware of things and only Mohammed the night manager was aware of things, the reception woman was appalling

It was a nice room but upon arrival, it did look like the pictures but very much a lived in look I.e furniture was clearly worn. This could have just been my room however. The carpet was not vacuumed as there some crumbs on the carpet. I asked for an extra towel as the one that was in the bathroom was stained. I called 5x times via telephone to house keeping and reception before I got one… that wasn’t receptions fault though. The bathroom floor wasn’t mopped around the toilet. It’s about £6-£14 to Canada Water underground in an Uber depending on the time of day; this is the nearest tube station; there isn’t a local shop or takeaway nearby, so if you want snacks it’s best to just get it from Canada Water if you arrive by tube. I did spot an off licence by the apartments at the back of Canary Wharf.

I liked that the that the hotel had their own boat service and that it was conveniently attached to the hotel. It was lovely to catch a boat across to Canary Wharf. It’s also free with your hotel pass. Reception were really helpful, professional and welcoming. It’s a hotel that’s away from the hustle and bustle of busy London but easily can get to a tube station via an Uber.

Minor issue was that the bathroom was very small. It was however clean and modern with a nice shower.

Friendly staff, lovely clean room with fantastic views and a tasty breakfast!! Access to free ferry to and from Canary Wharf was also excellent.

Room service arrived at 2am in the morning just for 3 pizzas for my 3 kids.

The staff was fantastic so helpful my room was amazing for the views.
