The room! I had high expectations of the room after living in Hilton Syon park. Actually there is no comparison between both these properties. This room was quite small for the price we paid.

The cleanliness of the restaurant needs to be improved as there was lots of food , including pizza crusts and chips, on the floor under several tables from the previous night.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with two large twin beds. We had an early start so the fact that breakfast started at 6:30 was ideal. A great choice of breakfast items, including fruit, cereal and a full cooked breakfast. The location is perfect for visiting the surrounding areas.

Not a lot to do other than sports facilities on site for disabled people not able to walk very far.

The spa was brilliant. All the staff helpful. Food filling and great Room ok Hotel looks different, but is lovely inside.

The room prepared for us has the sofa bed made up. We were told by the receptionist to let them know if we wanted it taken down. On arrival at the room we decided to request for it to be taken down so our toddler had some more space to play in. We made the call down to reception at approximately 4:30pm and no one turned up until at least 7:30pm. By this time it was too late as we were putting our toddler to sleep and having the sofa bed taken down would have woken him up again. A bit disappointed it took about 3 hours for someone to come and take the sofa bed down.

The rooms were modern. All staff were helpful and friendly. We ate at the hotel restaurant, the food was exceptional. We asked for my food to be kept warm as I was feeding our toddler. The waiter agreed without hesitation.

•We found a hairball in the room on the side when we checked in. •They forgot to service our room, asked for new tea tray items and fresh towels they didn’t bring up to the room. •We asked 3 hours later then received some teabags and towels but no offering to service properly. •Also ran out of toilet roll in room so had to try and source some in the morning. •The surf machine was not working at the activities centre so it all seems pretty dead in the lake.

•The spa facilities were good, though not everything was working in spa. (Wagon sauna and ice bucket) but the free glass of fizz made up for it. •The room was spacious and there was a fridge in room. •Breakfast buffet had a good selection of food, kids loved the waffle machine. •Service was good in restaurant.

The poor layout of the room compromised privacy especially when using the shower and changing. Not so much when it's a couple occupying but if you're a family with teenage children, it becomes awkward. No towel rails, no drawers to hide the clothes away. The pillows were too hard for comfort.

The quietness of the location, security, and cleanliness. Also, a plus for a fridge wherein you can store and chill your drinks for the trips the following day. It was easily accessible to the places and attractions we planned to visit.

Did not clean room correctly. Stayed for 5 nights room only hoovered the day we arrived. Used cups and glasses were not replaced with clean ones even though we did ask reception twice to get new clean cups did not happen.

The view was of a car park. No where to walk in the evening nearby. The service at dinner was painfully slow. The bar staff used passion fruit not peach in a bellini, only told after payment. The spa couldn't be booked online, I requested a slot via booking.com, but it said to confirm upon arrival. We arrive an hour before check-in and it was still fully booked for that day, so we had to go in the morning.

The room was lovely. The dinner was great, breakfast was also very good and the spa facilities were excellent.

Found a empty icecream tub under the bed. Understaffed for Sunday evening dinner service. Waited 70 minutes from being seated to food arriving. Staff did the best they could but were just overwhelmed. Felt sorry for them as very busy. Also midges came into the restaurant later on in the evening made the whole experience unbearable as being bit whilst eating.

Not much to not like. Thought there should probably be free water in the room but not hotels offer this (always a shame, I think). Floor of what was an accessibility bathroom didn’t drain and left puddles. But these are really minor things. It’s a good hotel.

Funky styling, nice location, interesting views, friendly and efficient staff, good breakfast, good lunch and evening meals, secure parking, spacious room with good facilities.
