Breakfast was very busy this morning. We were told there was a wait for food which was fine but then when it did come, they had got the order wrong. My husband asked for no mushrooms but they were on his plate, I asked for poached eggs and got fried and no potato cake. They had also run out of black pudding and there was very little left on the continental breakfast table, just some dry bread. We didn’t complain and overall our stay was fine, but more functional than luxurious.

Convenient for the restaurant we were visiting. Good value, nice room, comfy bed.

The hotel whilst a modern build is very tired and requires an uplift. Walls are badly marked. Carpets very poorly fitting. Skirting damaged etc, it was clean but not sparkling.

The staff were incredibly helpful, professional and welcoming.

The bathroom had mould from the water raising and settling on the ceiling and the seals on the bath panel were warped and mouldy. The tv channels didn’t work at all for tv or radio everything was interrupted with lines on it or didn’t work at all, couldn’t even get radio or music- was a shame as it was a birthday trip. In bar area there were plug sockets missing the screws to hold them on.

The grounds well maintained and facilities (pool/gym) were wonderful. Bed was comfy and great sized room. Lovely girl made a good cocktails at the bar.

Room very tired, in need of repair and a good clean, not 4 star.

Comfy Bed, we slept well and had lovely views. Breakfast was good, though had to wait for some items and actually my partner had almost finished his breakfast before I sat down, which was not ideal.

I'm sorry to say even though the hotel was lovely it definitely needs updating. There were nails in the walls in the dinning room with no function. Cobwebs hanging of them. The bedroom was dusty in parts the bathroom needed some working on keeping the tiles clean. Other than that it was comfortable, but I wouldn't rush to stay again.

My daughter was getting married at Combermere Abbey and this was close and at a reasonable price. The room was spacious and functional. The breakfast was plentiful the staff attentive. They even supplied me with an alternative milk as I have some dairy issues. The reception staff were polite and helpful.

For the price would have been great to have breakfast included, although appreciated the booking was room only. Bar area wasn't a defined area seemed more like a walk way from one area to another.

Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to facilitate an early check in due to attending a wedding despite being under immense pressure due to high number of guests.. They managed very well under a lot of pressure to help clients at the reception area and remain kind and courteous. Rooms very spacious and well maintained and cleaned.

There was no access inside the hotel to the pool for a wheelchair user they suggested the ramp outside which was way too steep and not really suitable for a wheelchair. We drove around which was a much better option but wasn't suggested to us by the staff.

Nice hotel beautiful grounds. Rooms were spacious and well appointed.
