We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomMy room was cramped and there were cigarette burns in the headboard of the bed. The bathroom was very small: toilet too close to shower cubicle, and shower tray tiny so no space to move. Also the breakfast kitchen was just outside the room and its staff door was left open so I was woken up by noise when breakfast preparation started so couldn’t get a Sunday lie in.
Lovely building in a decent location outside the city centre. Onsite car parking was a big plus. Breakfast was great, with vegan options, but the marmalade was dire.

United KingdomThe location of our room meant it was quite dark with no outlook and small windows. Didn’t like the absence of a bathroom door and the room could have accommodated a larger bed/wardrobe to enhance its comfort and appeal. There was noise transmission from the room above when the occupants were moving about but that’s one of the drawbacks when staying in a period property. The property is located on a hill and although the walk into the city wasn’t a problem for us it could be for those people with mobility issues.
The property is very nicely decorated with calming colours and provides an elegant interior. Feels airy and spacious in the entrance hall with plenty of space between rooms in the villa where we stayed. The breakfast room again allowed for plenty of guests and the food was was of a high standard both in produce and the cooking. Parking spaces are an adequate size but you must book to ensure you get one. Our room was a nice size, well appointed and with a lovely large shower cubicle along with great water pressure. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic- so friendly and easy to talk to which really goes a long way with us.

The very special B&B that felt like home away from home. The staff were wonderful and so lovely. The breakfast was excellent (and they were so kind to cater for my intolerances). The single room was cosy and exactly what I needed (there is no view but plenty of windows make the room very bright). I can't wait to come back.

Great location, 10 mins stroll into centre. No hassle parking car, great communication before arriving. Our error but we did not realise until morning that you needed to write your breakfast order the night before, left hungry with no breakfast. No staff attention to enquire. Disappointed this was stop off from Yorkshire down to Cornwall. Apart from breakfast situation, very good staff.
