Great place to stay before early morning flight from Stansted. I chose this property as an alternative to the hotel chains where we usually would stay at Stansted and it was a perfect choice meaning our large family could all stay together. Clean, comfortable accommodation, in a peaceful setting, short drive from the airport. We really appreciated the little touches such as fresh orange juice, milk and choice of teas and coffees, croissants etc left out for us. The host popped over on our arrival to make sure check in all ran smoothly and great communication before too. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The perfect stay before an early trip to the airport. We will always use this annexe over an airport hotel next time we are due to fly. The host is so helpful and accommodating and the little touches were unexpected and very gratefully received!

There was nothing to dislike.

The annex is self contained, exceptionally clean with all amenities required for a stay over. The hosts add little extras like milk, croissants and towels for your stay and nothing is too much trouble. The beds are incredibly comfy, it’s a lovely large living area and my whole experience there was above beyond the ten star credit rating I have provided. Thank you so much.

Cute finishing touches and gifts on arrival including a welcome card. Place was so clean and welcoming. Loads of fresh towels and croissants. Really enjoyed our stay. Owner even let us plug our electric car in to charge for free :)

Beautiful place. Great location to attend a family Wedding. Really lovely extra touches with robes for everyone, plenty of tea and coffee, jam milk and orange juice. Really unexpected and greatly appreciated.

the pond outside windows of kitchen and bedroom tranquil and beautiful surrounding close to nature and the Hatfield Forrest, the bird songs during dawn and dusk was lovely generous provision of amenity Evi being very welcoming and thoughtful in offering hospitality (came out from the house next to the annex and saw us off when we were ready for check out) close to STN airport (8 mins drive) easy parking inside the annex, clear driving direction Evi recommended Lion and Lamb for dinning at Little Canfield, which was superb in food quality and the landscape outside the window was relaxing….

property welcoming, exceptionally clean, spacious and with everything we needed on arrival. The kitchen contained breakfast and drinks items plus excellent coffee. Evie welcomed us on arrival giving a personal touch to our brief stay. I’m sure this would be an excellent holiday stay as a base.

It is a little tricky to find, however the host did provide very thorough written directions ahead of check in.

An exceptional stay! Such a beautiful location, and the host went over and above to look after us with great communication throughout. I’d recommend it for an airport overnight as it’s so close to Stansted, but really that’s a waste as there are some lovely pubs and walks in the area so I’d come for longer next time. We brought our baby and the host helped us with a cot etc. The annexe has such lovely attention to detail with the decor, the kitchen is amazing, and the beds are incredibly comfy, thank you!
