The stay at the Highfields B & B, was absolutely wonderful, “also really like that the room we booked very clean and tidy” . The breakfast was fantastic. Location is safe! The proprietors Pete and Anita we exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and tailored to meet your dietary needs. My room had everything I needed and was spotless. Good location for my purpose of being in the area. It was quiet and easily accessible. I cannot recommend this B&B high enough.

Bed sagged a little in the middle! Otherwise nothing to dislike.

We had a cooked breakfast which was well presented and not greasy. Checked that we had all we needed and offered more juice, coffee etc. From a natural history perspective very good location as very near a reserve. Also lake at property and another down the lane. Offered us a doubled bedded room (and spacious) instead of twin bedded we had originally booked which we appreciated. Lovely shower. Easy to connect to Wifi (free).

We stayed in January so weather was very cold and unfortunately the one radiator in our room did not give out enough heat to keep the room cosy so we had to wear layers to bed to keep warm. The light from the bathroom shone through the door into the bedroom.

Amazing place. Lovely staff, and a really good breakfast. Unfortunately our stay was not long enough to take in the surrounding areas but we did have an amazing Chinese meal in the next town the night we arrived.

A great loctaion close to where I needed to be for work the next morning. Friendly helpful, hosts. A great breakfast served to start the day and a very comfortable well equiped room. Would definitely stay again.
