Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyA couple of minor things that didn't affect my stay at all: - the temperature in the room was tricky, because even when you set the air con to be off, it still turns itself on once in a while, so I often woke up because I was either too hot or too cold at night, but I'm sure this was due to the abnormal temperatures London is having at the moment - There are some works around Stratford station, so it's a little further away than it would normally be, and I ended up getting an Uber from Stratford station when I landed, since I had a lot of luggage One thing that did affect my stay: the cleaners are LOUD. I was on the third floor and they'd get there pretty early in the morning, at a time where I would have loved to sleep, but I couldn't because there was shouting all the time. It might have just been my room, since it was pretty close to the room where they keep their supplies, close to the elevator, but, between this and the temperature, I didn't sleep much at the hotel despite the comfy bed, which is a shame. If I were you, I would ask for a room on one of their top floors (I think the cleaners get there later on) and far away from the elevators.
I came for a concert at London Stadium and this was the perfect location for it, as it's only a 15m walk and it's also close to Stratford station, which has tubes to pretty much the entirety of London. The area is safe, the room was bigger than expected and overall very comfy, with all the plugs I needed, many pillows, a fantastic shower with great pressure and hot water instantly, a good hairdrier, a safe... Usually, in these kinds of hotels there is a horrible liquid that's supposed to work for hands/hair/body when you're having a shower and washing your hands, but here the products are from Dove and so a better quality for sure. It was also surprisingly quiet, given the busy location. Breakfast is good if a little crowded, but it's not as crowded during the week. The Wi-Fi works fine. The reception is 24h and the bar was always open whenever I came back at night. Once I was even able to get a coffee, which isn't possible at most hotels so late at night. One of the highlights were definitely the staff at reception! Such wonderful, approachable people, and they really make you feel like they care about you. There is a very friendly lady at breakfast too. Will definitely stay again!

United KingdomBreakfast was difficult all round. Difficult to find a table as it was packed. Difficult to get to the juices due to the queue for hot food. Difficult to get in and out to the other options on offer because of the queue for hot food and the fact that it was the only way in and out for the staff with top ups of everything too. Definitely not a pleasant experience and we cut short our breakfast for a couple to have our table that other guests would not let sit at empty seats on their tables. An impossible task for staff to improve without rethinking the layout completely.
Room was good, bed was comfortable. The bathroom set up where you could segregate the toilet or have the whole bathroom was useful. easy to use temperature controls and TV and safe.

United KingdomQuite noisy but I suppose street side hotels can be, maybe a little attention to the double glazing could help. The hotel is clean but some of the furniture is very dated and therefore looks dirty, grouting needs to be cleaned in the bathroom and crazed sink should be replaced. My pet hate is beds that are not secured to the headboard so that the bed moves away from the headboard when you’re trying to relax watching a bit of TV before bed and my pet hate was definitely met here. Staff weren’t unhelpful but they also weren’t helpful especially at breakfast time, very much a case of hiding in plain sight, they could take a leaf out of the book of the Holiday Inn Huntingdon Race course.
Perfectly placed for the ABBA Voyage venue.

United KingdomThe only criticism is we ordered a mezze starter to share followed by fish & chips and a veg curry and she brought the fish, followed quickly by the Mezze and the curry. We asked to keep the fish warm whilst we ate the mezze but she didn’t understand what we were asking. So our meal was rushed.
