The shower curtain/guard was not effective, the bathroom floor become wet. I don't think the room was sound proof, as I could hear noise from the hallway.

The staff were clear with their communications. They were helpful with additional requirements that I needed. The location was good, right in the city centre. The room was clean.

No laundry facilities but pretty close to a laundromat. No breakfast available but not a big deal. Bit expensive but mine was a late booking.

Location is good, close to the water front and very close (walking distance) to the coach station. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. Room was fine, clean and comfortable. 11am check out is good.

The hotel offers a late checkout for a quite reasonable additional payment. It allows you to keep your room until 14:00. This is not so great though when the cleaners are tapping on your door at the usual 12:00 checkout time and then let themselves in! Luckily we had the security bar across so the door only opened a fraction but I was in the shower and my wife was getting dressed so having someone try to let themselves in to your room is a bit unnerving. Also, there was only one lift working for the duration of our stay. It is quite surprising how much difference it makes when there is only a single lift for a large hotel and that in combination with a fire alarm test (a necessary thing so no problem with that per se) left us standing on the landing waiting for a lift for a good ten minutes. If we'd just been walking out unburdened we'd have taken the stairs but we were on the 4th floor with two large and heavy suitcases, luckily we weren't in a rush.

Location is pretty good for the centre of Liverpool and the Ferry/Cruise terminals and James Street railway station (right next door). This is one of the hotels we look for first when we are staying in Liverpool. It is usually easy to get a taxi from here within a few minutes, they have a call button on reception. They have facilities for storing your luggage if there is a gap between your check out time and your ferry/train etc so you don't have to lug cases around the city centre with you. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

On our first night which was a Saturday night there was some very unsavoury characters hanging around and they were entering the hotel and going up and down on the elevators and we felt unsafe! But when we reported it to the front desk staff the following morning the situation was rectified and there was additional security presence for the rest of our stay👍

TV kept losing signal. One lift was out of order so had to use the stairs a lot.

Nothing - lovely big room. Due to it being a modified accessiblity room, there were not the usual bathroom surfaces or shower cubicles - but that was not a problem.

Room - very large and comfortable. My particular room was modified for wheelchair access so was particularly spacious.

I think it's a hotel that helps accommodation the homeless, which to me isn't a problem, but it does have the odd character and busyness at times

Large bed was two small beds put together. My partner left his coat in the room after check out, we called the hotel to see if they found it and if they would hold it, they said they would call back but they never did.

Very nice spacious room. Nice personalised card, with a small bottle of gin and nice towel arrangements on the bed.

The room was clean but unfortunately it smelt like marijuana (weed). Our sinks plug was down in the sink and we couldn’t unplug it.

Rooms are spacious and beds are super comfy! Staff were brilliant from when we arrived to when we departed. Location is perfect if your wanting to head out to the local bars or to do some shopping!

There is no breakfast at this hotel, but I knew that so it was not a problem and I planned for it.

Really good location for accessing the main events and locations in the city, all within walking distance. The room was quiet, clean and of a good size. A very good price for the night.
