Beautifully appointed accommodation in a quiet rural location, but still very easy to get to.

One improvement I would like to suggest would be a saucepan, so one could cook a bit of pasta. Whilst there was an airfryer and a microwave which is great, a saucepan would have been more useful for us to cook a simple supper.

Gorgeous setting with views over fields and the host's garden not far from Buckingham. There is two individual lockable bedrooms and a shared kitchen/sitting room. It was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean.

I couldn’t fault this property, this was an absolute gem and my partner/dad/stepmum kept thanking me for booking it!

Such a gorgeous little cottage, everything inside felt luxurious and all of the appliances were top of the range and easy to use. Initially I booked it for my partner and I to stay over for a wedding nearby, but my dad and his wife ended up calling Helen to see if there was space for him also, Helen was very accommodating and we all ended up staying there together. The wedding was lovely and our stay at Hedges House just made the whole weekend perfect.

Satnav not sufficient and a tiny hard to see name board burried low in a hedge, easy to miss. Absence of washing machine and poor wifi signal strength.

Lovely quiet rural farm setting. Spacious modern 1 bed ground floor semi detached accommodation. Key box check in/out. Ideal base for exploring or as a place just relax and enjoy the superb environment.

We were lucky to be the only guests staying. We hadn’t realised until reading a review just before leaving that there could have been other guests staying in the second bedroom. If that had been the case we would have felt very awkward sharing the communal area. If we’d been staying there with friends it would have also been tricky as only two comfy chairs & only two chairs at the table. The property suited us for a two night stay but wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer.

The property was spotlessly clean & lovely and warm. It was beautifully decorated. With all new appliances. Helen gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The property nice and quiet with good views.

Lovely remote location. Well appointed and comfortable rooms. Plenty of space with bedrooms and the lounge/dining area. Lovely breakfast. Will stay again. We used it for the Waddesdon Christmas Fair.

Nothing at all about the premises or service - it's perfect. But don't use R&R cars to get to/from there - despite being booked by email they didn't turn up! Use Royal cars in buckingham instead.

This place is a gem, and Helen a wonderful host. The setting and views are stunning; the rooms are beautifully presented and finished. And the facilities (toiletries, food and drink) are high quality, as is the breakfast. Helen was attentive and very helpful.

May have been a little difficult if strangers were also using the other room. Ideally if you know the other people.

Everything was perfect. The bonus was that we had the place to ourselves. The other bedroom was unoccupied.

The property is beautiful! Helen was very accommodating to our schedule attending a wedding nearby. The bed was comfy, everything was exceptionally clean and we really enjoyed watching all the chickens roaming freely. This is a great place for a quiet and relaxing getaway!

Hedges House is just perfect! It is in a beautiful location and offers everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Helen pays so much attention to detail and we were provided with a fridge full of items for breakfast. The hosts showed us so much kindness and truly went above and beyond! We would thoroughly recommend this place if you are visiting Padbury/Buckingham.

For anyone seeking a peaceful and very clean self-catering location in this area, this is a great location. The owner is very helpful and made sure we had supplies of good food for breakfast. The view from the apartment is lovely and there is plenty of opportunity for walks in the surrounding countryside.

Perfect for 2 couples, with 2 ensuite bedrooms plus a sitting area and kitchenette sharing a private entrance. Lovely surroundings and very helpful, friendly hosts. Good continental breakfast left out for us.
