Bathroom cold tap needed tightening. Toilet flush a bit weak. No bathroom mats to stand on were supplied. The coffee from the machine in the restaurant which cost £2 wasn't any better than the instant coffee sachets supplied in the room. There was a bar open all the time but they didn't supply coffee or tea which would have been nice.

It’s not a luxury hotel so dont expect that but it was clean and functional and a good location and good value for the price. Need a hotel that won’t break the bank for an overnight stay, it’s a great place.

Having to pay an extra £5 a day to park. Room very hot & stuffy, windows difficult to open. Shower weak & dribbley.

Broken furniture. Old and tatty. Yes we booked a basic room. But basic dies not mean old and haggard. Revamp definitely needed. Thankfully we only was there for one night.

Hotel is very tired,building works taking place,but didn't affect us..fire alarm went off at 1.45am..but it served its purpose for us and was reasonable value.

The location, cleanliness, had live entertainment in evening.

This property is dated, but was clean and did the job. Fairly priced. Parking was tight, but they have a rear car park, which helped. The breakfast was simple.

Tv was abit dodge wouldn’t work properly and also quite slanted, lots of stains on the carpet, poor view due to scaffolding on back of building just poor timing that work was being done on our stay, opened the window to let air in but one of them wouldn’t stay open a little bit annoying when you need abit of air in on a hot day, thankfully the room was quite spacious so it didn’t feel to warm, bed was very uncomfortable both woke up with a bad back could do with a new matteress in 212 could feel the springs.shower was too slow for us personally but no major issues, would be great if it was possible to have a pool or hot tub somewhere on site,

Price was fair, staff were very friendly and helpful, always nice to see a happy face on front desk, when asked if it was possible to check in earlier was told not until 4 due to housekeeping which is fair, but as I got to my car about to drive off receptionist went out of her way to come and let me know our room was ready, that was very much appreciated, and even tho I’ve stayed a few times before and know to check the car registration at the desk, a member of staff went out there way to come to the room to double check we had registered the car to prevent a fine, due to the wonderful customer service I will stay here again. Every staff member we saw said hello with a smile even the ones who were clearly leaving their shift for the day.

I paid for parking, went out for dinner and drove and when I came back I couldn’t get a parking space, I think the parking is a little bit too small

It was early in may, and the weather was warm and beautiful. My room was boiling, the radiator was even too hot to touch, no manual temperature control in the room. Receptionist told me the whole hotel was on a timer. There was nothing she could do unfortunately. We had to leave our room door open but that didn't help sadly.

The rest of hotel was like a maize and room was ok. Basic. At around 11pm the fire alarm went off..then went off. Freaked out. Another resident told me was false alarm. The staff should have notified all people staying at hotel was false alarm. Was very frightening and I couldn't get to sleep til 3.30am No room service

All good this time around...

The big boss of the hotel checked me in, the service was very professional compared to the low standard that I usually receive when I check in. The manners and politeness were very welcomed.
