Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomSome traffic noise throughout the night. The room was small - we were fortunate that we didn't have suitcases. There was a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, but no kettle in the room and 2 flights of steep steps to our 2nd floor room.
Good location, close to station and city centre. Clean.

United KingdomTotal sleep disruption after 4am with drugged up party next door and on the landing. Doors banging, shouting laughing swearing. Door bell ringing sounds so probably more coming in.They may well have been in our room. It a worrying problem with self check in. Stayed a few days before and everything excellent. Gave up trying to sleep at 6am and left early to go home to sleep. Texted the landlord before we left and did a later text back which was appreciated. They’d checked security and seen that things had been going on. Apologies accepted but it wasn’t a good experience

United KingdomWasn't expecting a lack of reception, but not a problem, the instructions were well presented to enter the property and room. Not recommended for anyone having trouble with stairs as they are narrow and steep, but if you're on ground floor I suppose there's no issue. Not complaining though
No breakfast on offer other than self service, but not a problem. Room was well presented and clean, a little noisy due to a couple of inconsiderate residents letting doors slam (but not the hotels problem)

United KingdomThe following points are minor. All of the facilities described were usable and functioned. A table (or two) in addition to the existing couple of side tables (and the work surface counter) would have been useful (there is plenty of space in the kitchen). A slightly larger desk in the bedroom would have been nice, although the room was narrow and long which might preclude fitting it in. There was no proper chair in the bedroom, just a pouffe. No light switch close to the bedhead.
Good communications. Exceptionally clean bedroom, en suite and shared kitchen. Close to railway station. Facilities as stated. Manager replenished milk for coffee/tea in the kitchen quickly when it ran out one evening and I texted him. Friendly staff. Good fridge (and freezer), washing machine, 2 built-in microwaves, kettle etc. Very good digital locks on all doors. Solid doors. Very large kitchen area with good work surfaces and cupboards. Wifi good.

United KingdomNeeds a bigger sign on front of hotel entrance as it can be quite hard to find on 1st attempt! Bit of a mis-communication with entry code to use shared kitchen facilities but it got sorted quickly. Pillows are really soft, not too my liking.

United KingdomI probably didn’t read the description properly when booking but this was not my definition of a hotel. It is of the variety whereby there are no staff or reception and you are given a key code entry to a corridor of rooms.
Centrally located-a stones throw from the railway station. The room was clean and comfortable.

United KingdomYou have to stay two nights to be allowed access to the kitchen. It was surprising to have no way of making tea or coffee, and not even a glass for water. It was noisy - no sound insulation from the corridor which is bare wood, lots of comings and goings, neighbour's TV played till 3am, recorded messages when anyone keys in the code to open and then when they close the door. Not a salubrious part of the city. No staff presence.
It was clean, comfy enough, the bedding was warm, and they thought to give alternative pillows for different sizes. Handy for the station.
