The location was perfect and peaceful. We had a beautiful room and the breakfast was exceptional! Mike is such a thoughtful and lovely person. 2 nights on Skye not enough.

Love Skye. Location, although anywhere on Skye is well located. Did I mention LOVED Skye. Rugged, picturesque, sharing the quite narrow roads with unfenced sheep, spotted Highland Coos. Good breakfast with homemade preserves. Very comfortable Sealy bed. Lovely rural view from our window. Onsite car parking.

Excellent position, house perfectly clean and marvellously beautiful; Mike, the host, very gentle and friendly. He was so nice, telling us history and interesting stories about Scotland and Isle of Skye, so kind preparing us a wonderful breakfast and hosting us in a wonderful room with all the comforts. Breakfast would be perfect with eggs or some warm savoury option.

We truly felt welcomed at Taigh Pa as Mike is a lovely host! The room is very cosy, spacious and nicely furnished - you feel like home. Coffee, tea and some bisquits are given. Strong and hot shower was great after day of hiking in the rain.

Just as translated, had the warm hospitality of "Dad's House". Mike was friendly and gracious with (as we were kidding on our departure) just the right amount of chit-chat. Very knowledgeable and sharing with local culture and Skye lore and insights. It's these kinds of stays that will keep Skye in your heart and making plans to get back.

Mike is a great host, who makes you feel welcome from the very moment you step into his and his wife's house. Our room was extremely comfortable, cozy, and clean. The continental breakfast deserves a special mention: it is served in the large, beautiful living room and there's always fresh fruit coming directly from their garden. We hope to come back soon!

Great location in Northwest Skye. Near restaurants in Uig, but out of the hubbub of Portree. Michael is a great host. He loves this corner of the world and wants his guests to love it too! Room is clean and they have thought of every detail.

Our host could not have been nicer. He welcomed us and gave clear explanation of what to expect during our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable as an en suite bedroom. Our host gave us ideas where to visit.

Quite expensive for a B&B. Breakfast was nice but I would expect a "full Scottish" at that price. Don't like jam in those cheap individual plastic pots.

The continental breakfast was excellent. The room and facilities were very good. Mike was a lovely friendly host. The museum was not far from the bnb and worth seeing. The Misty Isles boat trip a lovely adventure. The Fairy Pools was a waste of time and with so much beautiful scenery all around just enjoy looking there are many waterfalls and pools 😜
