My booking said towels were included - they weren't and were charged at £4 per towel. Couldn't get access to wifi during stay. You need photo id to check in and won't be allowed in without it which is fine but I didn't know that. Reception staff on my entry was brusque and unfriendly. On departure the (different staff member was very nice).

The twin room was very large as was the bathroom (with free toiletries). High standard for a hostel room. Comfy beds and linen provided.

No wifi! They say there is, but there isn't. Kitchen does not have enough of anything one needs to actually cook and eat a meal. There are no hooks on the back of the toilet door or shower door in the room, and there are no other toilets to use other than the one in your room!

At the arrival we were told the the wifi "works on and off", in my experience it was simply non-existent. I did not manage to connect even once, and we were there for 4 nights. One of the walls was kind of moldy... With paint coming off in multiple spots around the room.

The room was generally clean but we didn’t like the fact that the windows were really dirty. We were at the ground floor, windows were looking towards the inner yard of the building and it looked they haven’t been cleaned for months. Also, we had a fan in the room which looked like it wasn’t used for a really long time and it was covered in dust which wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival. Also, we didn’t really like the fact we had to pay £4 per person for a towel, we just bought them from the store nearby instead. There’s definitely a big room for improvements as it currently feels it wasn’t good value for money.

Quite a few little things that are missing could make the stay much more convenient. Eg. lightbulb in my bed was not working, you could see spider webs in windows or there's no hanger for your clothes/towel in the shower. Also, from the wording I understood that when you borrow a towel, you'll get your money back upon returning it, but apparently that's not how it works, so that was kinda confusing.

Really good location, 24h reception with friendly and helpful staff, all the beds with curtains to give you the little privacy you can get in a hostel.

No Wi-Fi and noone knew how to fix it No ID checked during check-in. Some random weird guy steping into our room... When we told it at reception desk and pointed and the guy looking like stooned - no reaction. That means everyone can get down there? I dont know..

Utensils in kitchen was pretty poor, no oven, only 2 pots for the whole place only a couple of bowls and mugs, no cheese grater, no sharp knife. Really need someone to take trip to Ikea for some cheap utensils. No real indoor social space bar one couch and one table and chairs I think the main bit being done up. Was cordoned off with a tarpaulin. Could really do with decent indoor communal space and a pool table. Bit echoy in halls when trying to sleep not great for noise if your sleeping.

There was a limited amount of cutlery and cups etc. Some people had left the washing-up for others, so that's not the hostel's fault. I pulled out a cabinet and it came away from the wall (leaving an exposed area behind it). There was not over/grill, just microwave, hob and "Foreman" grill maker (which needed a good clean)! The kitchen could also have done with some paper roll/tea towel to dry things and wipe surface spills etc.

Central location close to Lime St. station and the Adelphi hotel (for events). The bed was comfy and there were 6 bunks in my room so fewer people per room. A further good point was two shower/toilet units per room, though unfortunately no sink stopper (as with many hostels etc) ; A problem for me as I "wet shave".

Returning customer, Very clean, the bed was very comfy , personnel friendly and helpful, there is also the option for breakfast, I myself found a different place nearby , the oriental restaurant with very good food and prices ,(8.9 £ for the breakfast which includes coffee or tea) ; it s very close to Liverpool One and also from the local bars and the usual attractions, close to Tesco, there are also 2 different of licence shops (one of them is right next to the hostel ) No noise from the outside I will definitely go back

Checked in and out within the hour as it was not possible to attend the event we had tickets for. The front desk advised a refund wld be possible but on request via booking.com as advised this never happened.
