I was put into an accessible room, which I didn't need. The bathroom was a wet room. After each shower, it was a very wet room! Everything got soaked. Has there been a move to de-Beatle this hotel a little? This was the first time we heard non-Beatles music playing in the lobby. Maybe the staff complained about having to listen to the same band 24/7. The coffee bar in the lobby was always closed. Some of the facilities advertised in the lobby simply aren't there anymore. I still love this hotel, but parts of it were looking a bit tired.

The location is great. Just round the corner from Mathew Street, so perfect for nipping back after a night at the Cavern Club. The bedroom was comfortable. Thanks to the housekeeping person who restocked my supply of coffee sachets!

Our room faced a side street and in a morning we were woken to the noise of the bollards moving, 1st morning at 4.45am Asked reception if there was a quieter room and apparently this is it

The mould in the bathroom on the ceiling was an unexpected sight in a hotel of this quality.

The hotel room looked a bit dated and only had single-glazed windows so you could hear everything outside. I was woken up at 4am to the sound of police cars and seagulls.

Loved the Beatles theme. The lobby, bar and restaurant where we had breakfast were all nicely decorated and clean

The bar not being open at night , we could get drinks from the restaurant though. Food in restaurant slightly overpriced for quantity of portion but it was very nice .

Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble and they were always smiling. The Beatles theme is omnipresent but tasteful, which is a difficult balance to strike. Very close to shops and a short walk to the docks. Nice breakfast.

If there had been some extra staff in the bar, we would have bought more drinks.

Check in staff were super helpful and accommodating. The bar was short staffed but the staff were very friendly and apologetic about the circumstances.

The room was quite dark with one narrow window in the corner. No mirror near natural daylight - putting make up on was difficult in dim false light. No plug socket near the mirror - difficult to blow dry or straighten hair. It just felt as though the lay out had not been thought through.

The public areas are fabulous with lots of pictures, memorabilia. Staff were really welcoming & friendly.

The location of my room was unfortunate as we were subjected to late night noise from Matthew Street and early morning from bin men. Although our room was comfortable and looked great there were definitely design problems; 1) no power points near a mirror- had to borrow an extension lead from reception for my wife to be able to dry her hair 2) sink on bathroom too big - I like to be close to a mirror for shaving and dealing with contact lenses. 3) bath was too high - difficulty in getting in and out of it. These instances affected us but might not have been bothered other guests. Although I appear to be moaning we just got on with it and had a great weekend

A great location for anyone visiting Liverpool who is a Beatles fan. Lot's of fun pictures and memorabilia and just around the corner from the Cavern Club. Easy walking distance to the Beatles statue. Breakfast was great with lots of options.
