I loved everything about the property and the location. It is well located within 7 minute walk from the rail station and also adjacent to the bus terminus - both of which were invaluable to me. I loved that I could walk down the hill to the very busy town in about 5 minutes to access great restaurants but was so happy to return back to the quietness of my retreat! From my room I looked over the water in two directions from my room - the Harbour and the bay. My room was decorated with a beautiful beach vibe, as shown in the photos. I loved heading down to breakfast each morning and enjoying looking over the Harbour as I worked out which delicious choice to enjoy. My only regret is that I wasn’t staying longer! If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay, with readily accessible access to the great bus routes around Cornwall (I didn’t have a car so that was important) then this is the place to stay!

The room was what one might call bijou - small but perfectly formed. Every space was used efficiently. Very comfortable. We were offered a free cocktail the day we arrived and a discount on meals other than breakfasts, which were included. We ate there once and enjoyed the food. The included breakfasts were excellent - 5-stars! and one could order any type of coffee. The views were amazing from the dining room - and even from our room, we could see the sea.

Location is great. Room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. However, it was worth the hike. Room was very comfortable with amazing views of the town and the sea. When we checked in, we were given a free drink coupon. Hosts were very friendly and eager to offer tips on local dining options. Breakfast was ordered off a menu and was quite delicious. Hosts couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating

There are stairs, so the property might not suit everyone

Location is excellent - overlooking the harbour. There is car parking, the rooms are small but well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and snacks with drinks in the evening were also. Staff were attentive and offered helpful advice.

Nothing but perhaps a little pricey?

Really friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Was able to lock bikes at the front of the next door cafe (the staff were ok with us doing that). Brilliant view across the bay. Great location for the cafe/bar. Bedroom so comfortable and clean. Good cooked breakfast.

At £220+ the price was definitely steep for a B&B. On arrival our room hadn't been made up even though it was 3pm, so staff arranged for this promptly.

The view is outstanding from Harbour View House. The staff were helpful and friendly. A free drink on arrival was a nice touch and the breakfast in the morning had a range of innovative options. Our Room 7 had a great aspect and was comfortable.

There are a lot of stairs to the top floor. Be sure to tell them if the stairs are a problem for you.

What a great place! Super friendly and relaxed hotel with great service and amazing views over the harbour. Easy parking at a small extra charge. The service at the hotel was great, the rooms clean and the breakfast was perfect! Defiantly a great spot in St Ives. I almost forgot the free drinks tokens!!

Blackout curtains/blinds as very light in the morning so woke up too early. If longer stay more clothes storage would be good.
