We stayed in one of the cottages on the lawn in front of the hotel, directly facing the loch. The Cabin was nicely decorated and well set up with large sliding doors looking out at Loch Broom. We had our own tiny patio from which we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. The walk into town was easy and the view across the Lock toward Ullapool harbor was lovely. Just the right distance from the bustle of town. Very comfy bed, delicious breakfast, and very friendly and welcoming staff. This was a truly delightful and memorable stay and we hope to return someday.

It was a warm day as far as Ullapool goes, and our room was extremely hot. The window only opens a few inches, so we had to prop open our door to the hall to keep it cool enough to sleep comfortably. On the north coast 500, it was the most expensive place by far. It was nice, but not worth what we paid. If there are no other option, which was my situation, you book it.

It was in a great location about a 10 minute walk from the center of Ullapool. The facilities were nice. Breakfast was good and the customer service and breakfast staff were amazing.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

We stayed in one of 3 lochside cottages and the view of Loch Broom was AMAZING. Bed was a super king and very comfortable for my sister and me. Huge room and bathroom with a fridge and tea/coffee making supplies. Wine and champagne glasses and a wine opener were supplied. Slippers and robes provided. Table and chairs outside on the deck and they supplied pads for the chairs, a towel to dry them off and even 2 umbrellas if you forgot yours. A excellent breakfast is served at the main building (also with views of the loch) with light and full Scottish options. Huge, comfy lounge area to hang out in. Easy walking distance to Ullapool. The best part aside from the view? The staff were AWESOME. All of them from kiwi Jake who checked us in to the women who served breakfast and cleaned our rooms. Cannot recommend Harbour House enough! Treat yourself to one of the lochside cabins if you can.
