We found the front desk personnel to be very detached and not at all warm and friendly.

The room was exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast staff, especially Oneita, Natalia and Jaime were excellent as was Katie, one of the room attendants. The breakfast food was very good.

Our room was an attic room facing the road, couldn’t have skylight open due to traffic, fan was too noisy. Room was tired only seating was 2 kitchen chairs. Couldn’t watch tv as Wi-Fi didn’t do to well up to the attic. Was offered to move but hubby was asleep at this point. Pillows where threadbare

Breakfast! It was buffet style and to be honest was rubbish. Bacon was over cooked, eggs were fresh as the chef had only just brought them out but the old ones looked horrible. Rooms looked a little dated and no fridge in the suit.

We stayed in one of the spacious suites, the bed was very comfortable, with an attached bath with shower in the suit making it feel very nice. Was extremely disappointed there was no fridge in the room, there was space for one but an empty cupboard.

Had to queue to get into breakfast room, on arrival cutlery missing from the table, had to share milk with the next table as they had none, tea, coffee & toast did not arrive until after i had eaten my full breakfast, items not replaced at the breakfast bar, it was like faulty towers watching the manager trying to direct the staff who did there best in a chaotic environment. A simple solution could be a tea & coffee machine or dedicate the staff to a single role. everyone was waiting for tea, coffee & toast. Arrived around 1530 two staff on reception, departed 1015 one person on reception and yet another queue ?

We enjoyed the view from our room, restaurant and bar. Staff very friendly especially the lady in the bar (Friday night 31/05/24) Good location, quite environment.

Bedroom and bathroom need updating. Bed moved from wall when leaned back. Shower head kept falling off. Floor got very wet when showered. Patio door very stiff. Decor dated.

The room was absolutely lovely, the restaurant and bar are now equally lovely but the health club, is quite frankly dreadful. We have been for many years and we’re ok we got our swimming m and sauna but it is filthy. I’m not comparing to a spa hotel, this is awful. The staff are so nice and you don’t wNt to say to them but, I’ve tried for several visits, I struggled to use the shower. It’s a lovely hotel that has had so much love put into it but, right now, the leisure facilities are an embarrassment. And I love the place!!!!

The location is fabulous, the ability to walk Canal side into Skipton is really nice, we have stayed 4 or 5 times.

Very strange room in the attic , quite sparsely furnished yet more drawer space than other hotels I have stayed at. Cheap looking MFI wardrobe as you walked into the room , would benefit from something fitted in the space.

Decor was a little tired, and reception perssonel disinterested and unwelcoming. Room was nice but cleaning needed to be improved, lots of dust noted underbeds/ on tables and tops of sockets.

location is very good with nice walk along canal into Skipton. views from our room on canal side were spectacular. Breakfasts were excellent with a good variety of foods available, with friendly service from waitress staff.
