Great location, lovely hotel. Breakfast was delicious- first hotel scrambled eggs that have been good to eat and not hard and watery. Staff were all very polite. Loved the swimming pool and sauna. Glaringly obvious blood stain on sofa.(Room 349) The toilet while clean, had a dark stain where the toilet brush was unable to reach, and should have been bleached. Both of these are a failure of housekeeping. The hotel was otherwise great. I would still stay there again, (preferably after the housekeeping manager had been replaced.)

Great location within easy walk of city centre, good, young vibe to the hotel, swimming pool included in price, parking at hotel, helpful reception staff, nice restaurant, too.

Only thing they could improve is being clearer at check in woth parking arrangements. You need to pay as you check out, neither reception staff made that clear at check in

The hotel had many families staying and the children were in and out of the sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. I believe they should have been 16 to use the facilities, staff didn’t say anything to the children and neither did the parents.

The facilities, rooms are very clean and comfortable big beds, good food and drink selection in the bar. Location is perfect.

The lift was too slow, especially when checking out. we had to wait 10 minutes before using it, since it was all packed. They should not charge for the car park, as there are no other way to access the hotel...

The room was spacious enough and generally clean. Swimming pool was good size for the kids to play in with someone supervising all the time.

Thought the room we had on this occasion looked tired...especially the bathroom....shower was not the best to get in and out of, door was weird and a right step up to get into it!!

Location and parking....leisure facilities however Sauna wasn't switched on or wasn't working the morning I went to us the facilities.

Our friends room lacked a fridge and working safe but this was very quickly remedied.

I honestly thought it was nearer the city centre than it was when I booked it...but it was a bit of a trek to the cricket ground where we were going...so we got a taxi..it was a tenner which coming from Reading where taxi rides are ridiculous prices,I was very pleasantly suprised

Rooms very 'tired' with regards to decor. Condition of fixtures and fittings relatively poor - cracked bathroom fittings, some lights not working, etc. Swimming pool out of action.

Staff were fabulous - very friendly, very helpful, went the extra mile. Breakfast was fantastic - good variety and all cooked very well.

Lift was out of order and had to use the service lift. The queue to check in went out of the door, into the carpark and also merged with a queue of people to get into the spa/swimming facilities, with only 2 members of staff on the desk.

There were suspicious red stains on the side of the bed, we weren’t given enough towels, the heating didn’t work at all so we were cold, no charging ports near the bed. I’ve stayed in much cheaper hotels that feel more worth the price that this place costs

We asked for a baby cot when we booked the room, but when we arrived it turned out to be a sofa bed. So we asked again at reception and it was sorted fairly quickly.

It's too much saying we didn't like...:) maybe at breakfast the queue for pancakes ...it's annoying to wait for someone to pick 15 pancakes at once...definitely a limit of 3 or 4 per person would help

Toilet bowl in room 255 was full of nasty looking scale, and ran all the time wasting water, the sink plug didn't work either. The lockers in the pool were broken or didn't work. The spin dryer for swimming stuff didn't work in the men's changing room. after messaging and phoning the hotel 4 times re a baby cot, one still hadn't been left, had to ask again. Some of the desk staff were difficult to converse with or understand. Sauna in the pool area was broken.

Location and guest parking were reasonably priced which was excellent. Hotel fragrance was nice. Reception area was very pleasant. Pool temperature was good, not to cold. Steam room was good.
