I do think that for the money we paid, and for the 4 star status, that the breakfast could have had far more healthier options. eg the porridege was very creamy, and more like rice pudding. There was no choice of mueli or raw oats or a sugar free option of cereal. There was no choice of eggs - just scrambled (which we worry may be packet based). Plus no mushrooms or cooked tomatoes. As for bread, a very poor choice - you took the easy of option of standard white sliced or 'brown' but not really whole wheat / How about fresh baguettes, or rolls, or rye bread? Just comparing to some other buffet breakfasts we have had. Also, the berries were almost frozed on the two occasions I have tried to eat them.

Paid more for a glass of wine than I normally pay for a bottle!

Very close to the airport – just down a covered walkway from arrivals, after a short walk outside (500 m). Lovely bright reception area, with a nice place to eat the self-service breakfast which was kept well stocked up. Staff couldn’t be more helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Faye, who managed to track down the iPad charger I had left and has it waiting for me when I flew back into Stansted at the end of our trip.

At about 2.15 in the morning some sort of air conditioning alarm went off in our room. It was very persistent, and must have triggered an alert at reception because when I rang down to ask about it, the reception staff knew which room it was. The staff were responsive and sent someone to fix the alarm - it stopped at about 2.50, but of course by then we were wide awake, and there was no point going back to sleep as we had to leave at 4.30. The staff were most apologetic.

Good hotel within walking distance of the airport - nice bar and comfortable rooms. Great that breakfast is served from 4 a.m for those early flights - we had to check out at 4.30 am for our flight.

Some little extras would make staying here feel a bit more worth the money - something as simple as biscuits to have with the tea or coffee. I thought the bathroom floor wasn't as clean as it could be and some hooks for hanging towels would have made things easier.

Great dinner in the restaurant, good range of breakfast foods and comfortable room. Very convenient location near the airport.

I would like to have checked in sooner to freshen up, and get rid of luggage.

We arrived when there were nearly 50+ people queuing to check in, luckily the bar is nearby so we parked there until the queue died down! Breakfast was varied and provides a good start before heading to the airport

Very quiet you can not hear the Noise from the Airport. Best way to get your flight the next day. It‘s only a 5min. walk to the Airport.

The burger is really overpriced. It’s like a wetherspoons burger from the 90s. Doesn’t have to be gourmet but the Fries are good. Breakfast is good. Burger should match it.

Good breakfast selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Gym is clean and well equipped for its size. 24/7 bar is excellent too

Breakfast was a bit more basic than I was expecting, and the room refreshments were also somewhat limited.

It was an easy six minute walk from the airport. It was quiet.
