Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomUnfortunately, there was no designated smoking area or any ashtrays by the side of the hotel. People would have to throw Fagans down on the pavement or in the gutter.
The room quality and the view of the sea. The downstairs reception area was absolutely immaculate.

United KingdomHad to queue for ages at the breakfast area as there was a sign saying ‘wait here to be seated’. We were ignored by staff walking past and had to be told by guests you just sit down. Also recieved a parking fine even though we had paid for parking on arrival at reception.
The rooms were lovely and spacious. Very clean and modern. In a nice quiet area. Breakfast had lots of choice.

United KingdomThe staff were ok but a bit dis interested & detached except for the older lady in the breakfast room she was very nice & friendly. The staff seemed to be better at the weekend than in the week for some reason. The cleaners were poor at cleaning our room, they did the bare minimum, our bed was never made up by them & one day they left some cleaner & a cleaning cloth in our room & the next day they had taken the spare toilet roll & i had to go down to reception to get another one. i explained to them what happened, i got no apology just handed the toilet roll. I have stayed in the Torquay Hampton by Hilton & they were spot on, the rooms were very clean & they went out of their way to help but unfortunately the blackpool hotel needs some staff training both in the cleaning & public relations department.
Nice room with great sea views. complimentary breakfast had a good choice. nice tv. good value.

Everything, great check in, size of room, comfort, cleanliness, great big spotless shower, more towels than ever had before, creamy moisturising hand and body wash, loads of sockets, massive TV, if that’s your thing, 24 hour tea/coffee in lobby, more than enough choice of nicely cooked food at breakfast buffet, on sea front with tram stop virtually on doorstep, on site car parking £15 per day. Far exceeded expectations considering what we paid. Highly recommend this hotel in case you haven’t already noticed.

United KingdomThe tv in our room wasn't connected to the Internet, I only stopped one night or I would've asked about it. The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable.
Cleaning team were exceptional. Very friendly and worked incredibly hard to keep the rooms spotless. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and all.staff looked like they enjoyed their work. Breakfast was lovely no waffle bar, but premade american pancakes instead. Very helpful staff.
