The hosts at Gyves House are exceptionally welcoming and were very sensitive to my wife's nut allergy. There are very thoughtful touches in the rooms such as camomile tea, chocolate brownies and biscuits - all of which are home made and nicely presented. Breakfast options and quality are out of this world! Once again, lots of home made items. The property is a few steps from the main road along the beach front, so very well located. WiFi was also good.

We had another wonderful stay here. Having stayed for the first time earlier this year, we decided to return to stay the night before travelling to Rye. We were not disappointed. Our room was ready when we arrived a bit early. We had a beautifully decorated room, plenty of space, tea and coffee and water provided along with some home made biscuits and chocolate. The breakfast was wonderful, with home made preserves and bread, as well as home grown herbs. This is just a really lovely place to stay and our hosts are friendly and fun. Thank you.

Nobody is perfect but Gyves House is fairly close. Nice stylish accommodation with enthusiastic owners preparing exquisite breakfast, spacious enough room having all the necessary stuff. The house is in a quiet street, just a few steps away from the beach promenade, there is some distance to be covered to the very center of the city, but there are significantly less drunks and tramps around, which seems to be one of the Eastbourne's plagues.
