Dirty bed linen and hairs on the floor. Heating also was stuck at a very high temperature and could not be turned down

Very welcoming, the breakfast is okay. There is choice even if the english breakfast is not my cup of tea. It's always welcome. The shuttle taxi was less expensive than the regular one

Was charged £8 parking for the one night I stayed. Why not include in the price of a one night stay? Broken shower door. Radiator in room on full blast all night so extremely hot but window onto car park so didn’t want to open it.

Location to airport and purple parking. Didn’t buy breakfast. Didn’t see anyone except the chap on reception. No obvious work being carried out.

A very tried hotel which needs updating

Breakfast was ok, tables could have been cleaner. The fat spider on the wall they removed on the second day upon request. Cereals they had forgotten to put out. The handle almost fell off when opening the room door and a hook to hang up the little towel next to the sink would have been great.

A really good shower, unusual for the UK! Heating worked well and windows also opened for some fresh air. I liked that the sink was outside the bathroom, was easier to get ready in the morning. Soap and shower gel smelled nice.

I understand they are refurbing but I didnt realise the extent of refurb and when you have small children and loads of building work going throughout we had really watch them. The bedrooms were unbelievably basic, thinnest quilts and smallest single beds. I guess its to get more beds in a room. Breakfast was very sparse. I have to say the owner who happened to be there the morning we checked (only stayed one night!) was a really lovely man interacting with the children and us.

Great for location of Gatwick airport. Great for local shops, park and wetherspoons. wants me to write more but I have nothing to add as it was soooooo basic

Breakfast was a buffet and the whole area was not as clean as expected. Staff put food out without gloves. Bathroom was good but the shower drain was not draining well.

Breakfast was a bit none plus, first morning no ham left ,bread , only brown for toast. I dont eat much but hubby likes a decent breakfast. The 2nd morning , no eggs, asked at reception, (as she was the only person around which is in front of breakfast room ) , but were told, eggs finished. Renovation’s seems to be going on in several areas at once, so nothing is finished, im sure it’ll look good once done but it does detract from what should be a nice looking place, and makes it look very tatty at the moment.

Quiet , the room we had appeared to have a small double bed, but we slept ok. 2nd stay requested a ground floor room, which had twin beds, much better for us. Transport to / from airport was fine, transport staff polite / friendly.

We had to ask for 2 x replacement towels as they were dirty. Unfortunately we had to then ask for another 2 replacement towels as they were also dirty .. the new yield however were very nice. Unfortunately as works going on , it was not a comfortable place to stay in the evening ( although would def recommend the pub down the road) so cannot comment on any food and we left before the continental breakfast was available in the morning. So unable to comment Bit unnerving having the downstairs windows on the ground floor where we stayed , able to open wide enough that you could actually climb in from the outside

The location to getting Gatwick parking in the morning was really easy

Bit cleaner

Booked for night before airport. Warned it was undergoing renovation so not surprised it wasn't as clean as expected. Adequate for purpose. No lift so pleased to have been given ground floor room.
