Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe breakfast this morning wasn't as good as previous two - maybe chef's day off. I can see why the bed doesn't have a headboard, but it did mean the pillows kept falling off and it was a bit tricky to sit up and read.
The facilities and attention to detail in my bell tent was excellent. Bed and pillows were so comfortable - and I don't usually say that. Fire if you're cold, fan if you're hot, plug in cool box, plenty of water and milk for drinks, squashes, loads of different hot drink options. Towels provided, toilets and showers were absolutely pristine. Breakfast was fab. Good hot food options really well cooked and presented. Pastries, fresh fruit salad and wide variety of cereal options plus yogurts and juices. Loved the different items in the Siop Bach. They really are dog friendly too - mine had a chopped up sausage every morning that was offered - I didn't ask. I don't go back to places but I think I might well return to The Ring one day 😊

United KingdomThere wasn't much to do at that location. A car is required to get around and see things.
The glamping tent was well equipped and had an electric heater to keep us warm. The showers were clean, private and in great condition. The breakfast was great. We tried a few options and liked the poached eggs on toast best. There were a good selection of drinks and snacks to go with the cooked breakfast.

United KingdomBed was very soft so not good for me with a bad back but that was my fault because I assumed it was a double bed not a camp bed so probably fine for anyone else.
Great welcoming pub with lovely staff and nice modern decor. Great choice of food. We had breakfast and evening meal for 2 days. Dog friendly. We stayed in a camping pod which was clean with everything you need. Good shower and toilet facilities.

United KingdomThe bed. Weird lumpy mattress with springs sticking out and no padding. Couldn't sleep because of the pain and had to spread spare single quilt under us to try to mitigate. Also no headboard so pillows just fell off the back. The loos. Incorporated into the shower rooms so you had to wait for someone to finish their shower before a toilet became vacant. Very inconvenient. Would be much better to have a couple of separate loos.
The tent, the showers, the breakfast and the staff were all great.

Had a brilliant three night stay in the 'Gwen' Bell Tent which was the larger of the two tents on site. We we happy to see ours was next to the hedge, and we had our own small grassy area out the back with table and chairs, and somewhere where our dog could stretch her legs. Tea and coffee making facilities, juice, milk and other beverages were provided along with towels and a tv for entertainment. The power did trip a couple of times in the evening , but this was quickly resolved by staff in the pub. We had mixed weather during our stay, but each night we were warm and cosy as there was ample duvets and blankets/ pillows provided. And the little electric heater warmed the tent quite adequately. There are four shared bathrooms on the campsite, and I have to say they are the cleanest I've ever experienced whilst camping, so that was pleasing. The showers were hot and there was always plenty of loo roll etc. They were also lovely and warm. A small utility room adjacent to the toilets had lots of leaflets on local information/days out etc. Each morning we had breakfast in the pub which was excellent. Lots of variety of cold items including juices, yogurts, fruits cereals and pastries. And a large varied menu of hot foods. We had the full welsh breakfast everyday and it was delicious. The breakfast staff even cooked our collie her own sausage each morning and was given lots of fuss and attention which she loved. We ate in the pub on the Sunday evening, and that too was wonderful. With regards to days out, we managed to cram in so much during our long weekend. But the highlights of our trip included - Parys Mountain Copper Mine - The old Printworks - Bryn Celli Ddu burial chamber - Llanddwyn Island - Treaddur Bay ( stunning) - Cemeas Bay - Southstack Lighthouse - Sandy Beach - The Oyster Catcher Rhosneiger ( lovely food) Really enjoyed our stay at The Ring, and we will be back :)

United KingdomThere isn't anything not to like about the property. The shower block is great and modern, lovely hot water and all hooks and so on to hang belongings and very clean. If you do visit and are hoping to be near some attractions it might be worth noting you will need a vehicle and after dark it's impossible to see in front of you, this was perfect for myself and partner as we love to explore.
Very comfortable everything you need considering you are staying in a tent. The fire is lovely and the bed is very comfy. Television, all manner of hot drinks and a kettle to get extra comfortable and listen to the wind and rain. Very nice and relaxing. The hosts are very nice and can't do enough to help you. It's a family run, family and dog friendly establishment of the luxury kind. This place caters for touring motor homes, B&B guests and the glamping tents. The pub is very very tastefully decorated with some stunning seasonal floral arrangements sweeping throughout the elegant, somewhat timeless decor. It's a very nice touch that in the seating area of the pub there is a selection of up market looking Welsh local produce at reasonable prices all made from Wales and the local area. I am really very please we decided to stay here and feel very recharged.

United KingdomWe had a fantastic stay however, if you are not comfortable around dogs, for example you have allergies then this would not be the place for you. You also need your own transport. We didn't see a single bus or taxi our entire stay and there is no Uber on the island.
Breakfast was fantastic. Shower/toilet block good. Washing facilities great. Location as long as you have a vehicle is brilliant. Extremely dog friendly
