Top floor was 3 flights of stairs, this was done so we had two rooms close together so very thoughtful.

Place was perfect for our one night stay, 15min Uber ride to the centre of Nottingham. Room was very clean and we were allowed to gain entry to the rooms at 1pm.

Great situation, near to the Hockey Centre (20 min walk). Near to local shops and restaurants. Room was comfortable and warm. Very clean. Bed comfortable. Slept well.

Parking is extremely tight. Needs better access to electrical sockets and some USB charging ports by the bed.

The Grove guest house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Wifi was great too. The host, Gareth was always available if needed. Free parking was a bonus! Gareth even went above and beyond by organising a room last minute for a family member to stay aswell as letting us park for several hours after check out. Good transport links and amenities nearby!

My only complaint and it's minor is there wasn't a hair dryer. The owner said there was one but I couldn't find it.

The owner met us at the door, a very lovely, friendly man. There was ample parking out the front. The room was clean, and larger than expected. The bathroom had a shower and was easy to use.

Bed was a little too firm for me.

Convenient location, clean room and bathroom, easy check-in, quiet residential street. Fridge provided in room, along with table and chairs so you could take food for breakfast (not provided). Shared kitchenette provided cutlery and crockery.

Stairs to first floor room quite steep but the manager kindly carried my case up to my room.

The carpet was a bit worn down and the pressure in the shower could have been stronger.

The bed was made up very nicely and was very comfortable for one person (might have been a bit too tight for two though).. There were several options to put your bags on. All in all the room had a very friendly atmoshpere including a kettle and even a fridge. The bathroom was very clean.

We couldn’t adjust the temperature of the water of the shower in room 2 even after we followed Gareth’s instruction and so the water was too hot . When we rechecked in a few days later , we got a bigger room on the ground floor and the shower was perfect .

It is beautifully furnished and I like the black and white colour scheme . Gareth was present while we checked in and the communication was good . The location is excellent as it is within walking distance to the railway station as well as to the town of Beeston . It is in a quiet neighbourhood . There was parking space within the compound of the property .

The car park is a very tight squeeze once the two middle spaces have been used. The wall is so low and the turning space so small I didn’t risk it. Was glad to get a free parking space outside the hotel. And I’m a very confident parker! Just didn’t look worth the risk.

It was clean and bright. I loved my room on the top floor and it had everything I needed. Loved having a fridge in my room and the kitchenette outside was a great touch. Shower was hot and had great water pressure and it was just a lovely cosy room. Would definitely stay again. Perfect location for me to walk safely to and from my friends party in the town centre.

This is a very practical location near the Beeston station, with private car park. It is room only, not a B&B; the area is quiet and the room is simple and large, good size bed, fridge, tea-making and microwave, table and chair. Small en-suite bathroom, good communication from the owner. Altogether good.

For the price paid there were no improvements that could reasonably be requested.

It is an excellent place for a short stay. With a small fridge, microwave and kettle in the room along with more than usual tea and coffee. The room is a good size and the bathroom facilities of a good standard.
