no gate on the entrance so had to be very careful with dog as its on a busy road but there might be a reason for that

wonderful quaint little cottage so peaceful with a wonderful host breakfast was superb n ice large garden for the dog and plenty of walks nearby

Delightful cottage, well equipped and very generously stocked little kitchen area, furnishings comfortable and clean. property set in beautiful grounds, located in walking distance of the town. Delicious breakfast. Would recommend and we'll defiantly return.

Couldn't fault this place. Maureen the owner had thought of everything, bread, yogurts, milk, butters and orange juice in the fridge the location was brilliant and so was the little cottage. We would definitely return again

There is nothing to dislike

The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need and is only a 10 min walk from the town, would definitely stay again and I would recommend groom cottage.

Shower pressure wasn't great, but perfectly adequate for me. MY wife could hear the road at first but didn't stop her sleeping. Both very minor points.

The bed was really comfortable. There were lots of nice little touches that made it feel special. The host was there to meet us when we arrived and explained everything to us. Breakfast was lovely.

Groom cottage was fantastic, very spacious, clean and everything you could wish for was available. The breakfast was beautifully cooked with cereals, juice and bread for toast available in the room

Excellent cottage in a beautiful location with lovely views and only a short walk into town. Maureen was very friendly and helpful.

The heating was good but was gas heaters which were a little tricky to switch on even though we were shown how, maybe it was just us!

We were met by the owner as soon as we arrived and she was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with good facilities and the breakfast offered was extensive. The location was quaint and quiet and within easy reach of the town centre. There was easy parking and access to the room. Moffat is lovely.

The only thing that could have improved it wold be a better fitting blackout blinds or curtains. No biggy. Wasn't really an issue.

This accommodation has thought of everything you might need and provided it and then some. Fantastic and very dog friendly. Clean, spacious, comfortable and full of nice touches. It was great, even the dogs got biscuits and sausages. 🐶❤️

Everything was perfect, Maureen was a brilliant host the accomodation was nicely presented and immaculate, breakfast was very tasty and delivered with a smile, even our dog got a sausage made for him, there was fresh milk bread and orange juice in fridge jam and condiments and cereal in cupboard, would definitely stay here again, thank you Maureen

We didn’t find anything we didn’t like. Village and people seemed very friendly. The black bull inn was lovely and very dog friendly

Lovely place, very clean and comfortable. Maureen is lovely and friendly. Our dog loved her and the place and garden. We stayed on our way up and on the way home, we felt very lucky to have found such a nice place.
