Room 105, large twin (can be a double). TV and its controls needed adjusting by expert but all is in hand to be sorted. Excellent shower with brilliant water pressure. Beds comfortable. Has two `lounge` chairs plus desk and chair. Security seemed good. Wife had lovely b'fast she said. Very large car park and outdoor seating area. Packed with all ages enjoying themselves, wonderful to see. There are umbrellas and small cabins. I loved it. Bar and eating areas are beautiful, overall a stunnnng building well manged by Collum, wife and a whole host of staff.

The room was spacious, the bed really comfortable and we enjoyed a full English breakfast sitting in the dining room overlooking the ponds whilst watching the Herons and ducks wading around.

Walls looked like they had watermarks on, could do with painting over. (Room 304) As with most hotel rooms, the lighting is too orange. Need at least daylight bulbs in the bathroom otherwise no good for applying makeup.

Great looking pub with nice outdoor area. We didnt use the pub but seemed very popular. Hotel room had everything you needed, hairdryer,iron etc. And nice touch with the toiletries (body/hand lotion would have been appreciated too), nice bedding. Good size carpark.

On arrival the receptionist was polite & I was checked in quickly but when I entered the hotel, I realised they hadn't told me my room number. I also later realised they hadn't given me any details about breakfast times & checkout (although a board outside stated what time breakfast started). There was a step in to the fabulous walk-in shower & for some reason, I kept tripping up and down it. There were some grubby streaks on the wall in the bathroom (I think from the painting frame/steam, rather than dirt). The bathroom floor was a bit dusty. I'm on the fence about the snacks in a basket in the room with the price list (different to what I paid for the crisps my will power succumbed to). Lovely selection but a bit too accessible & overpriced. There was a (tiny) single biscuit in a jar that was complimentary but probably would've been better not to bother. These were all only small issues, personal to me and definitely didn't affect my very pleasant stay.

Nice location right next to the pond. Great for a morning walk before breakfast and good transport links. The room was much quieter than I expected, as the hotel is situated in a separate building behind the pub on the main road. Plenty of space in the car park. My room was well finished, modern but also in keeping with age of building with enough USB sockets to charge stuff. Furnishings & bedding were clean & comfortable. Loved the rustic looking breakfast table with juices, cereal & pastries etc. Enough choices for me on the main breakfast menu, which was well cooked & tasty. Very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay again.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. The only thing that wold have made my stay better was for The Greyhound to have an EV charge point so I could have charged my car overnight and not have to go and find a charge point the next morning.

Beautiful dinner and breakfast room. Staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Menu for dinner was lovely and the fish and chips were beautiful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
