Showers are a bit on the small side. We weren't allowed to bring take aways onto property.

The view was beautiful. Owners lovely and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Accommodated for lactose intolerance at breakfast, which was very much appreciated.

Asked not to allow dog to toilet on grass in garden area of property. Had to take him to across the main road which was a bit inconvenient. Room was noisy in the evening, could hear tvs and conversations from other rooms. Was okay at night when everyone in bed.

Location was great and easy to find. Breakfast was continental and ideal, set me up for the day. I had my dog who wasn't allowed in dining room but he was allowed to stay in room during breakfast which a lot of other accommodations don't allow so this was a bonus. Hosts were lovely. Great views from dining room.

Friendly and pleasant welcome from owner. Rooms have all you need. Comfortable bed, on suite, WiFi, Tea/Coffee and TV. Great location with a wonderful view, and although it is approx 5 miles from Oban, this is not an issue as there is a pub, which does food, 100m from Greenacres.

We are very sensitive to noise at night during the sleeping and couldn't sleep well due to opening/closing doors in the corridor, some chats and even snoring in another room.

The room was prepared very well. We found all necessary shower products and even more than expected. Quality was very well in relation to the price.

We loved our stay at Greenacre and would definitely return again, so my comments below are not intended in a negative way. Rooms, while very clean and tidy, are quite cramped. The bed was a bit soft for me and hurt my back, so I relocated to the spare single in our room which did the trick. As other reviews noted, noise from the corridor and other rooms carries, but we didn’t find it too disruptive. Would be great to have a lounge for chilling, or perhaps have access to the dining room after hours, as the rooms are a bit tight to hang about in in the evenings. TV is quite small but did include a DVD player!

Great location with free parking. The included breakfast, while a little early, was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. It included cereal, toast, jam, cheese, ham, yoghurt, and of course tea and coffee. Yum! Toiletries and wee kettle etc in rooms also really handy. Well-stocked too - we enjoyed making a tea and having a complementary biscuit in the evening. Free WiFi. Our hosts were absolutely lovely. Excellent value for money. We would return without hesitation as it’s a great base for exploring.

It was excellent but I would like to know what happened about my booking which I had to change from 26 to 27 Dec because of the landslide on the train line between Oban Glasgow. I would like a refund as Greenacre could not accommodate me on the 27th. I did change from 30 to 31st

we had the option of sleeping 3 in a room, which is amazing but means you will have to change in the bathrooms. Bathrooms were a bit tiny for that.

Nice friendly hosts. Lots of little extras in the room that I wasn't expecting. (I had forgotten to pack my toothbrush and shampoo and luckily these were provided). The place is spotless! Self-service style continental breakfast was good. Great views from dining room. Decent public transport links right outside the door (or large car parking space). Some lovely walks nearby.

Hot tap was too hot. In fact scolding. It's great to have hot water but for safety I would suggest It needs to be signposted as very hot!
