Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beautiful building with lovely views over the river and to the cathedral. Pleasant walk into the city centre and the historical area. A little far out for easy access to restaurants but mitigated by a free shuttle service.

United StatesI understood the bed would convert to twin beds. It wouldn’t. Second bed was a fold out sofa, which we had to make up. Room was also down two flights of narrow stairs. Not a problem for younger folks. Staff did carry our bags down. Coffee was not replenished for 2nd day.

United KingdomNo restaurant facilities in the evening. They offer a shuttle service into the city but sometimes one just wants to relax and eat on site. Annoyingly they did cater for a party of about 20 guests in the function room on the evening we stayed, so they clearly can do it-but choose not to.
Excellent view of the river, breakfast was better than when we last stayed. We asked for a specific room and we got it.

Nice older hotel that has been updated. Has parking. Very picturesque on the river. Nice spots to sit and enjoy it. About a 10 minute walk into the town centre. They have a shuttle in the evenings to drive you into town and pick you up. The driver was great.

The location was great, they have a van available to take you into town for dinner which was a great service. The breakfast was lovely with a great selection & the staff were all super friendly & helpful.

United KingdomThe only downside and there was only one is that the air-conditioning unit has such a bright light when you switched all the light off for bed it was like leaving a reading lamp on ! I like to sleep in the dark not necessarily pitch black but dark.
We stayed for just the one night, the location was great for us also lovely to be able to sit in the garden late afternoon/evening for a drink or two which was very relaxing. Staff were very friendly and approachable passing the time of day with conversation or two. Breakfast filled us up setting us up for the trip back home.

United KingdomThe welcome by staff was disappointing. Didn’t like the ‘reception’ area which felt like you were interrupting their ‘office’. For the price, I would have liked more attention such as a ‘hello and welcome’ by the first members of staff we saw. The first one ignored us completely and the receptionist had a rather cold approach to us. The bar and waiting staff were always very friendly.
Gorgeous room and terrace and overlooking the river. Very well maintained and beautiful surroundings.
