The bathroom had issues The extractor caused the door to vibrate irritatingly so had to turn extractor off. The handbasin was offset from the pedastal by 3-4 cm - quite noticeable which left me wondering about the rest of the construction. The room had no outlook to speak of & I suspect (speculaate), was used as staff quarters & occasional overspill for cheap bookings

Breakfast & service was excellent. Staff are absolutely exceptional! The room had a very comfotable bed 7 was very clean & tidy.

No bath robes or fridge in room.

The hotel was welcoming as always and a surprise upgrade which was a lovely surprise. The staff were exceptional and friendly and the facilities were excellent.

Drinks were top heavy on pricing, cost more than Cunard!

The parking arrangements were superb, but paying for both days was disappointing. Day 2 should be ‘take your chance’ with the advantage that you already found it! Breakfast was excellent, quite substantial. Concierge were all very helpful. Taxis were also amazing and cheap.

We loved the atmosphere and the attentive staff. The inside pool was lovely and we used that twice during our visit. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel and it's prime location.

The Grand is a high end hotel so I expect to pay a premium. However, I found myself not wanting to spend the evening in the hotel due to a strange band (keyboard player and drummer not good) and very noisy wedding party coming into the guest lounge. Would expect more from the price

We were half board and limited with a tiny menu. Had to pay supplementary charges on most items on the menu.

I found the Bath difficult it was very slippery when using the shower even with a mat a permanent grab bar would be better

No view from our window there was a permanent blind down. I think because the view was looking out at the back of the building. But as we were only staying one night this wasn't to important to us.

Only paid for inland view so basically no view, window had a blind that couldn’t be moved, would have been better to have a lower positioned blind, or cafe shutters, so you could see weather outside without having to manhandle the blind.

Excellent location, very “English” property. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Shower was large and powerful, no bath but not a problem. Nice evening turndown service and coffee/ teas were replaced after every room service. Fabulous outdoor heated pool, we were very lucky with the weather, and were able to lay by the pool even though it was only May. Staff were friendly and ready to help. Special shout out to the young man who was working the cocktail bar on the Thursday night. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

No side Seaview from the bedroom. I paid for room for side Seaview. They were all Trees. Really should be paid little less not having the side Seaview. That the reason choose it. There is less prices without side Seaview. Also it was first floor I expect high up side Seaview. Next time you must let know if you don't have side Seaview. I belived paid too much without side sea view. Sorry to say I was disappointed.

Lovely bedroom and bathroom beautiful pool outside and indoor also very relaxing having cuppa tea and floter coffee in different lough rooms very history pics & Massive. My friend enjoyed do her good break from her home she hasn't had a holiday for years. I organise for her.

An enjoyable experience overall. The staff did amazing hospitality in the beautiful setting. The decor was elegant. The hotel has maintained its Victorian era charm. Nicely served breakfast, freshly cooked to order with everything available that appears on the menu.
