Our room was fine however, because it was downstairs and near at lobby and kitchen, you could hear the noise from the outside.

Staff are friendly, nice facilities and location. It's near to all attractions.

Room 2 had an extremely noisy air conditioning which disturbed me all night however when raised to staff they were extremely helpful and remorseful

Overall the hotel was beautiful and in a great location. Beds were extremely comfy and the furnishings were lovely. Good cocktails on 241.

not charge £26 per night for parking

The facility met my expectation. It was clean and comfortable and with a friendly and professional staff at the front desk. I believe though that £26 parking for the night was a bit much.

I ordered a g and t in the bar and got a glass of water🤣I cleared our breakfast table whilst 3 staff members watched from the 'safety' of their station, my request for additional artisan bread had to be repeated...the chambermaid blonde/glasses was delightful.

The location, the dog-friendliness and general comfort...the bar was good too!

Room lacked a chair or something similar to rest items, clothes on. Didn't realise a ride in the Bentley was an option - perhaps I missed this item during the online booking booking process!

Absolutely gorgeous, high-end hotel with all the amenities located on a beautiful park and walkable to everything Cambridge has to offer. Friendly staff and a beautiful restaurant. Exquisitely decorated. They even had a pillow menu so you could select your ideal type of pillow! Loved our stay.

The Gonville Hotel is great location to the attractions of Cambridge Easy walking distance Beautifully attired decor around the hotel and the room itself was very nice I booked a twin room for a friend and i and it was very pleasing to the eye very clean and spacious The hotel staff welcoming , friendly , helpful and all members of staff we came in to contact with , reception, bar ,restaurant just lovely.

Necessary to pay for parking at the hotel, although this seems to be standard practice in Cambridge, where parking is difficult. My advice is, if possible, leave car at home. Most facilities in Cambridge can be accessed either on foot or by public transport.

The room was well decorated and furnished, very clean. Bed very comfortable with quality linen and pillows. Bathroom and walk in shower exceptional. Good choice at breakfast and well cooked and presented. Overall facilities available were very good, with the staff providing excellent service and assistance. Good central location.

Staff in restaurant on the evening of our stay were not the friendliest , service was slow waited a while for them to take our drinks order then linger for food order , if we stay again wouldn’t use restaurant

Receptionist was rather rude on arrival and couldn’t tell us where we were in the same room for 2 nights because we had booked one night via booking.com then another direct. We only booked it directly as whilst we amended the booking online we had a message to say it wasn’t possible. We then had to check out and in still the the next day to stay in the same room

Low level lighting. Bedside lamps very low. One table lamp not enough. Only reasonable light from one reading lamp.
