Gold Caravan was an amazing place to stay, so glad we managed to get a last minute booking. Everything you could think of is supplied, thank goodness for the ice dispenser in the fridge freezer as it was a glorious, warm weekend. Thank you.

There was nothing to fault at all. Brilliant.

An absolutely stunning caravan. Had everything in it we needed and more. Very clean and comfortable. It’s a huge caravan with separate bathroom with toilet and bath, and another bathroom with a shower and toilet. Both bedrooms were doubles. Huge living room, dinning and kitchen area. Nice quiet area of the park too that overlooks the golf course.

Although the caravan has been well looked after, it is not brand new and some of the trims are flaking a bit. The decking outside is just beginning to rot in places and the wooden steps, while still safe just now, will need attention soon. The gate had been blown off by the recent storms and not yet rehung. Still good value for money though.

The caravan was more spacious than I expected, with two double rooms each with an ensuite. Very well equipped, comfortable, very clean, toasty warm and on a very quiet part of the site. It has a clear view towards the golf course and we did not feel there was any lack of privacy. There was ample parking for two cars on hard standing. The onsite restaurant was unexpectedly good with good quality food and for mid week in mid February was quite busy.

Although it didn’t bother us at all the free camp WiFi is quite poor. Like I say it’s not an issue but some people might be more bothered by it.

Location was very good for us, only a short distance from Jedburgh. Very quiet, nice accommodation and good caravan park.

WiFi and entertainment facilities needs to be update that was OK but bit old style.

Host make sure to provide everything that could be needed. There was extra bedding and blankets. Full of facilities and comfort. Feel like home.

The instructions on where the Lodge was - ie: caravan park as I went to reception to ask if this was the right place, they became very unhappy that I asked if this was the correct place. OIbviously because it was rented out privately. Clearer instructions caravan number etc: I spoke to the owner and she was very helpful

We needed a place for a double stopover on a trip up to dundee. This meant that unfortunately we did not get much time at the property. However, it was super clean and luxurious. Everything we needed to make a quick meal and get a good night's sleep. Can thoroughly recommend staying here.

The cooker was great but it took ages to light. Might need a service. Some comfy outdoor firniture on the decking would have scored this at least a 9, only a small bistro set which is great if you just want a coffee but it was so hot some garden lounge furniture would have been perfect. The post at the front of the decking is rotted and needs replaced it could be dangerous if anyone fell against this.

We liked how spacious the caravan was. Well equiped and felt like home from home. Very comfortable. I would definately recommend to others and would stay again

Not enough instructions on how to use the washing machine, dryer and gas oven.

Good location with easy access. Not far from tourist attractions. Plenty of entertainment at the holiday park.

can’t think of anything I didn’t like

lots of space in this large caravan, felt like a lodge home and was very well kept. The park has a good park for kids and a nice bar restaurant too. The owner called and sent clear and helpful instructions and the key safe meant we could arrive when it suited us.
