Sean and Mary were exceptional hosts, very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was excellent, all local food. Nothing too much trouble, we even filled our flasks with coffee for our walk. Would definitely stay again

An impressive residence set on a hill covered in a lush covering of vegetation with an abundance of birdlife & squirrels. Sean met us as we entered & the warm, friendly & humorous welcome was most appreciated. Our room was upstairs & Sean didn’t hesitate to assist with luggage. Beds were comfortable. The shower hot, a varied selection of tea, coffee & hot chocolate with snacks including biscuit’s & chocolate. Sean provided a map of town & recommendations for our evening meal. Breakfast was taken in a dining space with beautiful views over the garden & valley. Our cooked traditional breakfast was excellent. There’s also a selection of cereal, fruit bowls & yoghurt so you won’t leave to explore hungry.

Nothing. Everything was really top notch.

The location was excellent. We were planning to climb Snowdon and so needed somewhere nearby. This was about 20 minutes away. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Sean was a wonderful host. Extremely knowledgeable about the area and all it had to offer, was lighthearted, professional and friendly. It was obvious that he cared deeply about our experience staying at Glyntwrog House.

Everything! Sean and his lovely wife (Sorry that I can’t remember her name!) were exceptional hosts! Neat, clean room, fantastic food, great personalities! They made us feel so welcome and very special! You will do well to stay with them!!

All the small things like a good varied breakfast and drinks selection. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. Shaun was great always making sure we were comfortable and needed anything. He served the best local products at breakfast which was a special extra touch!

There was nothing to dislike other than we had to go home 🤣

Sean and Mary went above and beyond! Everything was perfect. Breakfast was absolutely 5 star. Loved our stay! Can't wait to return... We loved exploring the surrounding areas with our cameras.. Loved the Red Squirrels on Anglesea and that infamous tree at Llanberis! And of course, a visit to the Dyfi Osprey Project! Loved every minute of our time out... Thank you both.

Thank you for suggesting the walk around Llyn Idwal and The Velocity at Zip World. You and your wife made my wife and I feel really welcome. Your passion to make all your guests happy, even providing options at breakfast is outstanding. I can't fault the team at Glyntwrog House, it was an exceptional stay. The room was cosy with brilliant amenities, a wonderful view and the team were amazing. Our names were remembered throughout the stay, nothing was too much trouble, including helping us out when a friend came to visit us. It felt like coming home, comfortable, quiet and just perfect. We will definitely be back!
