The shower tray filling up whilst showering, had to take out plug so it could drain. The area itself very hit & miss with mobile reception, we nearly missed an activity that was booked in the morning due to no signal. Great if you want to switch off but not so great if navigation is needed.

Staff were all lovely, especially Poppy. Food was amazing, best steak I've eaten in a long time. Spacious room with bed facing the window. Comfortable bed.

The bathroom really needed some attention, there was the aftermath of some flooding maybe and the shower head was damaged. Still functional and clean.

Pretty place, good location and a decent size room. The bar/ restaurant was really sweet and the food on offer was lovely.

Wonderful value, friendly, helpful staff, very tidy, pleasant decor, one of the most comfortable hotel beds ever, superb shower, pleasant breakfast. EV charger available for Room 14.(Not well advertised).

Very quiet and peaceful valley and very close to Llandollen if you need more attractions. We enjoyed walks and cycling around the valley (very steep hills is a bonus!)

The other area to eat in a bit lacking in atmosphere. Menu limited (usual pub grub almost all with chips or fries). Having said that what we ate (gammon/ fish) was very good. Breakfast (continental) bit basic.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Dogs welcome everywhere in hotel. Bar welcoming and cosy. Library nice room to eat in although only 4 tables.

I cycled to Glyn Valley Hotel - secure bike store and fab shower, Tetley tea and delicious evening meals. Very friendly staff.

The location is a very pretty village in a valley but difficult to find .Sat nav takes you up the mountains on single track roads which is apparently the quickest route . We visited at the end of June and the central heating was on in the room which we had no control of . Breakfast was help yourself but quite basic The bar in the hotel closes at 10pm and nothing else around

Nothing it was perfect

Modern clean, food was lovely, staff fabulous Rooms looked newly decorated, beds comfortable and the sheets smelled so nice like my own. Tea and coffee biscuits, free bathroom smellies, towels super soft and fluffy. Breakfast continental but all fresh and plentiful. The beer garden is lovely too and we were lucky with the weather. Lovely 4 mile drive to nearby Llangollen quite a hill but breathtaking views.

Booked last minute. What a bargain it was lovely hotel and pub. Great location staff were good and friendly. The evening menu is great value for money and was delicious. Room was spotless and good shower. Perfect size for one person. Will be back

The hotel was in a quiet location, and we received a warm welcome. Rooms were very clean with very comfortable beds. The shower was a good size and had very high water pressure. Complimentary continental breakfast had lots of choice and grat coffee.
