Stairs!! Stairs seem to have been a theme, which is something to consider if you have health issues or have very heavy bags.

Very clear check in instructions, despite no staff being around. The folder left with our name on contained the key and everything we needed to know. No drama with check in at all.

An older traditional seaside guest house, located steps away from the Sea Front, and an easy walk into town. Efficient (unmanned) check in, First, use intercom on front door (answered promptly by owner), then your room key in envelope at front desk. Quiet small pleasant room with soft mattress. Nice breakfast (with good cereal choices) from menu, attended by owner. Free parking in streets (can be difficult) or pay on Front.

Shower was a little hot, and we couldn't seem to turn it down. Not a real issues though.

Room was lovely, no view but I knew that when booking. Room very clean, nice comfy bed. All facilities in the room were excellent. Breakfast fantastic also.

My room was a bit noisy as there is what sounds like a fan running in a toilet nearby. My main concern though was damp - there was moisture in the corner under the ceiling. I assume this is recent and hope the owners can sort it out swiftly.

Wonderfully situated a stone‘s throw away from the beach and castle. The centre is very near too. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was superb.

Our room was right in the attic, which we weren’t warned about, so we had to haul our cases up three flights of stairs. The parking was a bit a tricky, finding street parking close by was worrying but we managed to get a space over the road eventually. We weren’t provided with a fan even though we were in the attic room at the end of summer, but we didn’t need it enough to call and ask for it. The carpeted bathroom felt odd and the window into the bathroom from the bedroom even stranger, especially considering the lack of shower curtain or ability to stand in the shower - this made for a strange shower.

Fantastic breakfast, really good location within walking distance. Comfortable bed and room, along with general facilities, easy check in. Good information in the pack provided in the room.

Maybe a small selection of fruit for breakfast and a Little more interaction from hotel owners and staff.

There's not much difference between full English & Welsh breakfast, but this is the best I've ever had, the toilet on the first floor was nice and querky, with a tap & sink on top of the toilet cistern, from the room I could still see the sea as the hotel is one of the first off a side road.

Non en suite room but was aware when we booked .

Clean room with great view . Excellent breakfast cooked fresh with locally produced sausage bacon and eggs . Had to leave early to attend a sporting event and offered a carry out breakfast which was appreciated.

The only thing I'd say is maybe the carpet maybe needs replacing My depth perception isn't the best so did end up nearly tripping on the layout

The guesthouse somewhat felt dated. Parking is not possible.

Third time here in the past 12 months. Ideally located almost opposite the beach. Always clean and well maintained with an excellent breakfast. Very good value for money.
