Small family run hotel Emaculate inside and out Continental breakfast served in the breakfast room.. beautiful presented table settings with fresh produce and fresh coffee / tea. Atmosphere in the hotel was peaceful, and everyone respected that no slaming doors loud chatting and no tv noise. We had the twin room all you needed tea coffee station with treats and filled up daily. The shower room was well stocked, and hot water and fresh towels Bed very comfortable and the room was cosy warm. Deborah runs the business and is very knowledgeable about whitby as its her family home town and will help with all your needs as in best places to eat , visit etc A big plus is that parking is provided in the price of your stay. Highly recommended 10 /10

The property was very clean and extremely tidy, our room (The seaside) was absolutely beautiful great facilities, TV, lounge Area, mini fridge, tea, coffee and hot chocolate available in the room, and everything was topped up and replaced everyday. Everything in the room was high in quality from the tea cups to the tumbler glasses, breakfast was extremely good too, a wide variety of foods.

free parking in a Central location. an excellent choice of breakfast, various cheeses and cold meats, fruit and breads. very clean and comfortable room. Debbie and her staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.

Lovely room, beautifully decorated. Extremely clean with plenty of storage space and classic soft furnishings. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff excellent and very helpful when we experienced a vehicle breakdown on the day of departure.

There was nothing , I didn’t like, except, a door mat outside the front door would be good for guests to wipe their shoes and feet. The carpets and decorations are so nice and clean, and I would like that to last for the host..

From the very beginning, the host was very welcoming, informed us of parking facilities, waited for us outside the door, and told us when our room would be ready, which was earlier than expected. The breakfast was really good. Freshly cut strawberries, raspberries, grapes etc, home made granola, cheeses, all fresh, clean and in small amounts so could refill with fresh again and again. Room was very clean, nicely decorated, towels changes, and bed making, I would say everything was so lovely, clean, beautiful.

Sound insulation could have been better.

Deborah was very helpful, giving quite a bit of useful info about Whitby. She is a great hostess, making sure you are very well looked after. The room was clean and comfortable. Details such as having tea and coffee, biscuits, etc in the room were not overlooked. Breakfast was also very good, with excellent coffee.

What a little gem this guesthouse is! Superbly located, sumptuously decorated and a warm and friendly host for whom nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is continental style but would put many bigger hotels to shame! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to return.
