I wish we were staying longer!

The location was perfect, 10/15 minute walk from bowness. the room was fabulous and clean. Host was fantastic couldn’t have done more, our stay was perfect. Breakfast was cooked to perfection we loved the tablet that our host had set up and recommended things to do we tried a few of the places out and wasn’t disappointed.

The location was perfect, being midway between Windermere and Bowness. My room was very cosy and had everything that I needed and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious and Ian was a great host.

Its location between Bowness and Windermere. Bus stops nearby. Ample car parking area. Very technology centric - provide guest with tablet in the room. All information readily available in the tablet inclusive of check-in and check-out and daily ordering for various types of breakfast. Small refrigerator in the room. Affiliate with nearby heath centre. Outdoor terrace facing water stream.

The breakfast choices were excellent. There is a choice of both a full English or continental breakfast. The fruit salad was freshly prepared and delicious. There are plenty of restaurant options within 10-15 min walk in both directions from this property.

Exceptional stay !! The location is perfect a 10 minute walk to Bowness and Windermere. We will definitely be returning , the staff were incredible and catered to all our needs. The food was perfect and our room was lovely , everything about Glencree was amazing .

2 tiny niggles. The spiral staircase was awkward carrying luggage to the room but otherwise we had no issue. Time chosen for breakfast, this means the specific time your cooked food is coming to your table. You need to factor in a good 15 mins before this if you're going to eat your cereal/fruit/yoghurt first. Otherwise, you will have your cooked food in front of you while holding your bowl of cereals.

The room was decorated to a high standard, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Great shower, and the toiletries supplied were lush. Breakfast was delicious, and the full English cooked to perfection. Ian was a fab host and extremely helpful and accommodating. The location was superb, and we loved Bowness village for the views, lake, and eateries. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at Glencree, and Ian and the team were really kind. It was the perfect location, only a 15 minute walk down to Windermere lake and lots of pubs, restaurants, and shops. We were upgraded to the suite which was fab! Breakfast was lovely, they catered for me as a vegan with no problem, and everything was clean and comfortable. Would definitely return if I come back to the lakes (which I will!)

The room was a little on the small side but this was expected and we knew this at the time of booking

Perfect location and such a cute little B&B. You order breakfast the night before through an iPad in your room which is great. I even changed my order the next morning and this was not a problem at all. Breakfast was so lovely and fresh. There are plenty of restaurants and there is so much to see. S uch a great location. Nothing was too much for the owners, they went above and beyond to meet our expectations. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Having to remember to txt Ian breakfast time but that's on me, its a great system pre ordered on tablet in room then txt the time required keeps breakfast room flowing nicely 😊

No complaints had a wonderful stay, great location, comfy beds, great shower, lovely products provided, delicious brekkie enough choices 😀 nice touch being able to use local leisure centre like a little spa 😀

Everything was excellent , the setting and proximity to the town. The room and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and clean. Breakfast was first class. A very enjoyable experience and will stay again next year when in the area

Got parked up met the owner Ian on the car park What a gentleman. Maid us very welcoming and relaxed. I'd recommend anybody to stay ere room shower fantastic. Well breakfast that was just to good. Loads of choices very very tasty. Mrs is a vegetarian Ian spoilt her. Just couldn't ask for anymore from Ian and staff. Will well go back. And I recommend everyone to try this lovely place.

Lovely place and ideally situated within walking distance of Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere itself. Great breakfast, cooked to order, and lovely friendly staff.
