Wonderful hosts. A clean, quiet and comfortable room with everything we could need. The breakfast was absolutely incredible! Will definitely be returning! And it’s just a short drive away to Whitby - perfect for a coastal getaway.

Beautiful place, Ali was an amazing host. Just .9 walk into Whitby itself. Room was immaculate. Own entrance, own shower / bathroom. Breakfast served to you in room (as not a mass bnb- which is a good thing). We stayed just 1 night, def back again. 100% recommend.

The B&B was exceptional, very clean,ali and Pete went above and beyond for us, nothing was to much trouble, even left treats for us, gave us good knowledge were to visit, the bed, wow best sleep in a long time, will definitely be going back, and will recommend 😀 loved our stay x 10/10

Was a bit unsure where to park when we got there, that’s all. There is a Glen View B&B sign, but didn’t realise it would be just one of the houses, all ended up okay though :)

Great location, so peaceful and charming, super comfortable bed, great pillows, hot and roomy shower, fresh milk with tea, cushions and blankets provided ready on the side when sitting on the patio and it gets a bit chilly, lovely breakfast, and the most wonderfully warm host.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, quiet, beds are incredible comfortable. Ali is the best host ever who just can't do enough for you. Absolutely beautiful. It is such a little gem in the countryside - I recommend anyone who is thinking of a seaside stay take up the opportunity to take a weekend break here. Whitby is only a 3 25 to 30 minute walk with beautiful views. Such a treat.

the breakfast was well cooked and tasty and served in private from ali probably the perfect host she even bakes is there nothing this lady cannot do varandah outside your room ali will even chill your wine for you and probably help you to drink it to please dont all book at once as i would like to return but would get injured in the crush

Ali and Pete are the most wonderful hosts ever! The room is beautiful, clean and calming with a private terrace and entrance, with gorgeous views of the countryside. A five minute drive from the town center, it made for a great base to explore Whitby. The breakfast itself was absolutely scrumptious and so fresh! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and memorable stay. I loved all the personal and thoughtful touches, and would return just for the homemade lemon drizzle cakes! Highly recommend the Glen View B&B :)

Excellent hosts, LGBTQ+ friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for Ali and Pete. A very welcoming couple who made us feel invited but also respected our privacy. Couldn't have asked for any more from them and I am very grateful we booked here for our anniversary trip! We will be back!

An ideal base from which to explore Whitby and the surrounding areas. The property was all we could have hoped for, with such a friendly host in Alison. The breakfast was wonderful, as were the delicious cakes. So many thoughtful little extras. We can highly recommend.

Lovely walk to Whitby along heritage railway line and river Esk, quiet village location, the homemade cake and chocolate on arrival by lovely hosts, delicious breakfast with lots of choices
