Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomA little dated and could do with a slight moderation but the main problem was the lack of window insulation, when we arrived the apartment was freezing and we could feel the wind through the windows, plus you could hear every single car/noise outside. In the large bedroom the double bed needs replacing its completely sunken one side and the springs dig into your back.
The location was spot on for us, close enough to all the great hiking spots. Once the heating issue was sorted it was lovely and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped for us. The staff that contacted us were all very nice and helpful.

United KingdomIn order to collect the code for the lockbox to gain access to the property an online form had to be completed my passport and or driving licence uploaded. That should have been stated on the booking.com site and if it had been I would not have booked the property. It was paid for in advance and therefore in my opinion no need to go to such an extreme to verify who I was. Also I was not hiring from the owner direct but an agency.
the property was chosen for its location and it was a reasonable price for the type of accommodation.

United Kingdomcramped eating or relaxing facilities (5 visitors though caters for 6) as four chairs round dining table and 3 comfortable settee/chair. we found the heating very difficult to manage and consequently were very cold😟
a good base but being on a main road be prepared for noise! Clean everywhere and well stocked kitchen. several tvs available in the property.

FranceAs shown in the photos, the lounge is small. It is comfortable for eating around the table but there is only a 2-seater sofa and one armchair to relax in. It was fine for three but six people might find the lounge cramped.
A comfortable upstairs flat which is very well-equipped: Large bedrooms, modern kitchen, good-sized bathroom with over-bath shower. Off-road parking and not far to drive in to Swansea or to the beaches around the gower. Good communication with the management team.
