Great location, easy to get to by public transport. The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Check in process was easy and beds were very comfortable. The communal area was exceptional and the kitchen was well equipped.

I would prefer lockers to keep things. And coin laundry available. Bunk beds are a little wobbly and creaky.

Incredible location near Ben Nevis. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice for a great price: toast, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice. Staff was no nonsense and efficient. Lounge was very cozy.

Ventilation in the room sucked, we weren't allowed to fully open the window, so had just an inch of space for the air to come through. Additionally, in the kitchen it was difficult to find some of the more popular utensils, perhaps restocking it a bit could help (and is a cheap solution anyways).

It is a hostel, so you are to expect it to be a hostel. The common areas are nice, seems like some people stay there more than just one night. You can find anything you need there, get some drinks at the reception and use the kitchen and laundry rooms. Really great for hikers. The stuff was very friendly and helpful too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this hostel!

Amazing place for nature lovers! Close to the city but still in the middle of nature, close to all the best hiking trails around Ben Nevis. Very modern, well designed building. Everything was clean. Helpful and lovely staff. Good kitchen. Also good washing machine for clothes, for extra pay.

Well I know Youth Hostels traditionally have bunk beds and it wasn't a problem in itself for us, however it wasn't mentioned on booking.com that our twin room would be bunks - and in our particular room it was hard to see why the YHA had done that as there would have been plenty of space for twin beds....

Absolutely fantastic location right at the start of the walk up to Ben Nevis - and right by the bus stop to Fort William. Friendly helpful staff. Nice cosy communal areas. Spacious, well equipped and clean kitchen. Good hot showers

I booked two rooms for six people with eight beds in total. One person dropped out leaving us with three beds spare. My husband arrived in our VW campervan at the last minute with our two spaniels and when asked if he and the dogs could stop in one of the rooms, one staff said no due to it not being on the ground floor and another member of staff said they could not refuse the dogs to stay. It should be clearer if dogs are allowed or not. This is my only niggle , everything else was absolutely perfect. Thanks for an unforgettable weekend.

I think everything was okay, so nothing to add here.

Location was excellent as I wanted to do hiking and climb to Ben Nevis. Which I did :) Very good experience. The place was also easy to find. Because arrived on Sunday, I didn't find any bus to get there so walked. Room and also common space were nice. Also lots of space in the fridge to keep food there.
