The road outside can be busy.

Jen and Jamie have put a lot of thought into making The Hayloft a comfortable place to stay.

it's a little close to the road which is quite busy at certain times of the day.

The owners leave a welcome note and some tasty treats. Love the real butter and milk. The property is better in reality than the photos. Feels bigger. Very cosy. Nicely decorated. Never needed to get in touch with the hosts but felt like they would be very responsive. Great to be so close to the starlings, which we saw! It's an easy drive into Glastonbury.

    nothing.

The house was perfect, clean, comfortable, great location, ideal for a couple. Amazing detail in the welcome folder, and personal welcome note. Detailed and appropriate communications from the hosts. The starling murmurations were fantastic, well worth a visit in their own right, but also there is so much more in the area. We will be back. Thank you.

Jen & Jamie have created a lovely friendly, well-appointed 'home from home' which will be my 1st choice the next time I'm in Glastonbury (rather than chain hotels). It's cosy, clean, with a lovely bathroom (bath and separate shower), comfortable and welcoming. The lovely welcoming note and extras in the fridge etc. were a very nice surprise & much appreciated. Meeting Jamie as I left was a nice end to the visit. Look forward to the next one :-)

Lovely place in lovely location. Had all the things you would need and all the information about how to use everything. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was comfy to be in. Very close to RSPB nature reserves and a quick drive into Glastonbury itself. Hosts even left milk, a bottle of wine, and some chocolate, along with a handwritten note. Would definitely stay again.

Leaving! It was a home from home and if we could have stayed longer we would have.

We were visiting family. The location was perfect, as were the views and the accommodation. The key was in a lock box but the owner was about to go out as we arrived so gave us the key directly. The property is adjoined to the owners living accommodation who are a wonderful couple. Cheerful, friendly but not obtrusive and very easy to get on with. We had a wonderful time.

    Nothing.

This was our 2nd visit, I love this cosy house, it makes me feel at home. The kitchen is well equipped, the house has everything we needed, it has also some games, I enjoyed so much playing with my husband, the location is great, few minutes driving to Glastonbury or you can also walk. The house is in a nice and quiet village, there is a farm near the accommodation, we enjoyed seing some cows and sheeps. I really love this place, Jen the owner was very kind, she welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine and chocolates. We enjoyed everything, I highly recommend this place.

The house was perfect for us, as we were looking to spend some relaxing time. The hosts Jen and Jamie have a welcome book with all the information you need for the stay and to enjoy the surrounding area and are happy to help with anything you need. The kitchen it's well equipped if you are planning to cook and it came with a brilliant welcome pack. There is also plenty of books to read and a few board games in case you fancy. In general, we think it is perfect if you want to enjoy peace and a good base to go to Cheddar, Glastonbury and many other nearby places. We are definitely going back.
