Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe bath/shower I feel was an accident waiting to happen, there was no slip mat or handrail to susport, No water supplied in the room which would have been a welcome especially as it was so hot The kettle is to big to fill in the sink, needed to fill a cup then pour into kettle The iron was a travel iron and not a full size, There is parking but not a lot, unless you arrive early which as experienced stayers we are aware of, there is off street parking but can be. Bit of a walk,
Breakfast was lovely as always We have stared several time over the last couple of years,so we know the form, however there was no invite/ explanation to the breakfast bar/juice etc, which I also notice either around me were also not invited to I has requested a room with a bath and feather free pillows which I was delighted to have been blessed with both. Thankyou very much appreciated

United KingdomThe shower was in the bath, which might not suit everyone. The sound insulation isn't great and the water pipes a bit noisy, but they are probably more noticeable because of the quiet location of the hotel.
The location of the hotel gives great access to the city centre on foot/bus and quick access elsewhere by road. The bar and restaurant area is very pleasant, with an outside seating area. The staff were excellent and always helpful. It was real service with a smile. Breakfast and evening meal were consistently good. I was in a single room, which was a good size and had everything I needed.

United KingdomWater pressure on the ground floor is fierce indeed - a warning notice in the bathroom might be an idea.
Staff are very friendly and helpful - it is a very nice environment to stay in. And in a really interesting part of town.

United KingdomNothing to dislike.
Everything! Great location, close to Norwich city centre and to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with excellent bus transport available but still very quiet. It was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was a desk in the room which was very useful. The people who work there are also very helpful and friendly. The bistro attached serves great food (very generous portions) at reasonable prices. I had booked breakfast as well and the breakfasts are excellent too - a cold buffet as well as a good selection of hot meals to order. The bistro is so good that we’ve been back to eat there, without staying.

United KingdomSmall room overlooking the carpark. Carpark was full so I ended up parking on the road and receiving a notice from the neighbours asking I respect their private lane and not to park there.
Clean and comfortable room which served its purpose. Restaurant was nice and served a tasty, hearty breakfast

United KingdomRoom needed some dusting especially above the curtain rails and raw plugs still in wall where curtain rail has been changed. We could hear a lot of noise from the adjoining room, the adjoining door did not provide enough sound insulation.
Room was a good size, and shower was good. Dinner and breakfast was good.

United KingdomWe didn’t feel massively welcomed at brunch but just a minor niggle. Our room was right on the car park but this didn’t bother us at all as we weren’t there that long but I guess if you wanted a view you might be disappointed!
Very cute hotel situated about 15 mins walk from the centre of Norwich. We stayed in one of the rooms in the annex which was a good size, clean, quiet & comfortable. They were very accommodating in allowing us to have brunch rather than breakfast with our son who is at university here. Lots of parking.

United KingdomSome of the restaurant menu prices are i feel a little high but in fairness the quality and taste of the food has always been very good.
Clean room with very comfy bed. Booked the executive single and bed feels like a small double so plenty of room for us single business travellers. Restaurant food (evening meal & breakfast) very tasty. Stayed here a few times and staff always friendly. Not had a bad trip.

United KingdomUnfortunately there is a water tank outside the bedroom window in room 20 which made a 'refilling' noise all night and kept us awake. We reported it to reception in the morning and they were getting the maintenance team to check it out
The deluxe rooms were well appointed with a lovely bathroom. Room 20 also had a seating area which was most welcome as we were there with friends!
