Can’t really say there was anything we didn’t like overall very nice and very good value for money. Perhaps the only thing was no parking but we did find a residential street opposite shopping car park where we parked for free. Loads of spaces.

The room was very clean everything we needed but a little small .

Booked 4 twins but only 2 available when we arrived so 4 men had to share 2 doubles which wasn’t ideal and we weren’t notified until we checked in

Location, great atmosphere, clean and tidy

No parking with the hotel but there is a supermarket carpark nearby.

We love Spoons hotels. Always a good standard of room, always spacious. This was extremely lovely and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Spacious and modern shower room. Bedroom furnishings were very good quality.

The shower didn’t have a moveable shower head. This is always awkward for ladies that don’t always want to wash their hair. Also, the room was very clean but the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied from previous guest which, although wasn’t a big deal, felt a bit lapse.

Good location for town centre and walking the Brecon Beacons

Very good apart from poor bike storage arrangements.

We had been assured there would be secure bike storage. However this was in a packed bin storage shed. It was difficult to find space for the bikes. In the morning the bikes were covered in unpleasant items of waste and there seemed to be some damage to one of the bikes, potentially caused by moving it or knocking it while moving a bin.

Great value for money. Rooms were quiet and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fast and well priced. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I did not know about the parking before we arrived. They have no onsite parking. You have to pay, 2 hours at atime at a lot nearby. Overnight is free.

It was certainly clean, just a little bit more attention to the corners & more the difficult bits. Parking a bit tricky but we found that the cathedral has Ringo making it easier

By and large all was very good, room, food & ambience. Nice historical building in the middle of town, good value.

Car park is pay and display, which is free overnight but meant a ticket was required from 8am. Booked through booking.com and even though we paid in full on arrival the hotel 'automatically tried to take payment twice more in the middle of the night and has not responded to my messages about it.

The room was nice. Not in the main building. Actually accessed from a public area outside but felt secure. Nice bathroom and air conditioning. Free tea and coffee and biscuits daily. Obviously a Wetherspoons so good value food and drink. 'Posh' coffee was available with free refills from the bar at breakfast time and the breakfasts were good value and filling. Especially the freedom breakfast. (free range eggs and RSPCA bacon)
