We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel was bright and exceptionally clean and the staff were all excellent and efficient. Our room was large and super clean as was the bathroom. The breakfast was included in the price and there was a wide choice to suite all tasts. This is the place to stay in South Molton.

United KingdomI would’ve liked a fridge or a couple of bottles of water in the room. They do not serve food in the evening but you were welcomed to bring back food and have it weaved to you in the lounge as an alternative.
Friendly and professional staff, immaculately clean throughout, great sized room, super comfy bed, delicious breakfast and great quality produce. Lovely lounge and bar to relax in.

United KingdomWhen I read the Booking.com description it said there was a restaurant however the restaurant does not do evening meals. The staff laid up a table and we had our take away there with a drink from the bar so not too bad.
The location was great and the breakfast was very tasty.

I had a single room this time, it was fine for an overnight stay. So, as I say, like last year, I had an enjoyable stay but this time I didn't indulge in the amazing cream tea that is available here.
