I had an early flight and I needed to sleep very early and even though the place was in general quiet I could hear other people checking in, squeaky floorboards, a crying dog... (in the evening and not too loud) once I managed to fall asleep it was perfectly fine

Very convenient for Gatwick, 10 mins by bus right outside. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again if needed.

Not much really. The person at the reception checked with us if we wanted breakfast(included in our deal) but we were had an early flight so could not have..Maybe some option for breakfast takeway for the early travellers would be nice

The location.Bus stop with service to the Gatwick airport. Room was spacious and clean.Clean sheets and towels. We were late but the late check in was nicely organized.Very clearly communicated.

Really great place to stay, 5 minutes away from Gatwick Airport yet total tranquility

I arrived exactly on time for check-in as agreed with the owner but no-one was there and I had to wait for 10-15 minutes for someone to show up, all throughout the dog was barking at me - that was an unfortunate first impression as I was tired after a long journey. That was just a mix-up though , which can happen to anyone. On a side note, if you have dog allergies, it might be worth letting the owner know as the dog was in the breakfast area. The room I got shown to was recently renovated to a high standard but it was missing some finishing touches - a shower screen (I was told it has been ordered), a proper bath mat as the floor is all polished tile and you can easily slip over when you are wet, and a tiny bottle of shampoo would've been nice as I ended up having to use the hand soap. Also, getting the plug out of the bath was a nightmare, give it a check to make sure it doesn't need replacing as it was super difficult to get out. Also, the electronic thermostat on the wall casts a bright blue light directly towards the bed which might annoy some people who are sensitive to light, so check in case there is a way to dim the light on it or make it warmer. But all in all these are just minor suggestions, it was still great value for money and I would happily return!

The room was really comfortable and looked great. I particularly enjoyed being able to have a bath! The location was incredible, 10 minute walk from Horley train station and with a bus stop literally outside that has a bus going to Gatwick with a 5 minute journey time for just £2. The cooked breakfast was optional but it was nice, they had a vegetarian option which I appreciated. The lady who runs the place has a really kind energy. There's also a cute family dog living there who likes having his stomach stroked.

    Nothing.

It was well located, just 10 minutes by taxi from Gatwick airport and from the house you can reach the small town, where there are a few restaurants or pubs to have dinner. The room had everything needed for one night, very clean and the staff was really nice at our arrival, and organised our transport to the airport for next morning.

Room needed a freshen up. Skirting boards dirty. Access to shower very restricted

Bedding and towels fresh and clean. Nice little ensuite. For the price it's good.

I didn't know that the bus stop at Gatwick was the most distant from the terminal. I had to wait over 30 minutes for a bus (at 1am). Paint peeling off walls in bedroom. Use better quality ingredients e.g. sausages for cooked breakfast. My breakfast took so long that I missed my bus and had to get a taxi. (And there were no other guests at the time)

Check in arrangements for late night arrivals worked well. Hotel right by bus stop. Large bedroom. Clean. New, large bathroom. Friendly staff.

Nothing really. I loved it. Just a recommendation though. I think a bottle of water in the rooms will be a brilliant idea, especially because of guests who may arrive late like myself. I had to walk to town to get a bottle of water, even though I was really tired, because I do not drink water directly from the tap unless it’s filtered.

I liked the proximity to Gatwick airport and Horley train station. Easy access to public transport. The staff were very helpful. I had a wonderful cooked breakfast that I really enjoyed. It was the first time anyone actually made my eggs exactly how I like them. Bless the chef ❤️. The environment was clean. Room and bathroom were clean, but could be better. Overall, it was a good stay

The room was a bit warm, but we opened the window.

We were close to Gatwick airport, which was the goal. The bus will take you directly to the guest house to/from airport and tickets ($2 British pound) can be purchased on the bus. We used credit card, since we didn’t have any British pounds. We walked (.6 miles) to the nearest Tesco to purchase a $5 meal deal - sandwich, side (fruit, chips etc) and a drink, since it was after 9:00pm. Comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Bad planning on my part really. My car was booked for a weeks parking whilst we were away. I planned on leaving the suitcases etc in the car and putting anything we didn’t want to take from the overnight stay in the car before we left but as we left at 3am I had to give my car key to reception before it closed. This meant lugging three suitcases up the stairs and down again as quietly as possible in the early hours. Perhaps a secure post box could be added to allow car and room keys to be left.

Perfect location for the airport. Very clean and staff amazing.
