A handy guest house for Gatwick airport with basic facilities. The local bus stops right outside and Horley railway station is about a ten minute walk. Some local pubs nearby including a Wetherspoons.

Location is perfect for reaching Gatwick Airport with a bus stop directly opposite the property. Staff were friendly and informative. Room was clean and comfortable with an en-suite bathroom. Would stay here again.

Bad planning on my part really. My car was booked for a weeks parking whilst we were away. I planned on leaving the suitcases etc in the car and putting anything we didn’t want to take from the overnight stay in the car before we left but as we left at 3am I had to give my car key to reception before it closed. This meant lugging three suitcases up the stairs and down again as quietly as possible in the early hours. Perhaps a secure post box could be added to allow car and room keys to be left.

The carpet in the room felt a little dingy and dirty.

Great location with a 10 minute bus drive from Gatwick North terminal and a 5 Minute Bus commute to the South Terminal. The bus stop is right in front of the house. The downtown area of the small city is just a 6 minute walk. We found a great restaurant and markets. The room space was great. We had way smaller rooms in central London. The window was definitely a plus since we like our room to be extra cold. We looked a several places to stay close to the airport and this was the best price and value. I really enjoyed the kettle, the powder coffee and tea bags in the room!

Although my room was small it was very clean and the bed was comfortable . Excellent location. Various eating places nearby.

The entrance to the room was from the back garden area. The room needs some thought put into it, eg no wardrobe/hanging space and the shower is in the bedroom itself but there is no shower screen to stop the water from going across the room. Spoke to the manager at check out and he said that both these things were on the to do list

Everything was up to standard. The only thing I would have liked as an option was a twin room (two single beds) instead of a double.

Very convenient for Gatwick airport, i.e. Fastway 20 and 100 buses stop at South and North Terminals, and literally outside the Gatwick Turret Guesthouse.

one of the two entrances to the property (front parking area) was flooded (heavy rain) The absence of a lift was a minor issue but it is a converted large house so understandable This should be mentioned in FAQs

Assuming that you are arriving or departing through Gatwick Airport, please remember the following: Board bus number 20 from the South Terminal and pay GBP2.00 with a contactless credit card to be dropped at the MASSETS ROAD stop right outside the hotel about 5 minutes later. Bus number 20 runs all night. From the North Terminal board bus number 100 to arrive at Massets road in about 8-9 minutes, GBP2.00 To return to the airport use the bus stop across the road from the hotel to take a No.20 bus to o South Terminal or No.100 bus to the North Terminal. Tip: Photograph the bus times the evening before you leave and be aware of the different schedules on Saturdays and Sundays. NB Send an email to the hotel the evening before you leave to receive an email copy of your bill.

Nice welcome. Quiet and comfortable room. Really close to the airport. We could also have a pleasant walk to "downtown". The options of breakfast and shuttle to the airport were what we were looking for.
