We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

United KingdomThe floors were really cold and there's no way of managing the temperature ourselves so we did find that we had to add extra layers on to be comfortable.
Great location for getting to Gatwick Airport. Easy check in and host was very communicative. Comfy bed and kitchen had everything you'd need for a nights stay - although I think if it was longer we would have felt the need of a few more utensils.

United KingdomIt was too far to walk at night with heavy suitcases and not knowing the area. Had directions been clearer, we would probably not have had to take a cab, with the additional expense, but the directions to and from the station were not adequate and we felt obliged to take a cab. If this had been explained in more detail, it would have been much improved. Furthermore, there were not enough bedside lamps. There should be one for each bed! Also, additional blankets should be provided.
It was very clean, comfortable and easy to settle into at night when we arrived. Everything we needed was included, except, see lamps comment below..... Breakfast drinks were provided, thank you!

AustraliaThere are other residential appartments above this rental space so it was important to be mindful of our noise impact, but that was OK and expected when we booked the place. It is a good walk into town or to Gatwick Airport but easy for the fit and healthy, otherwise taxi facilities are easily accessible.
The living spaces were excellent (living/sleeping plus separate kitchen, bathroom and outdoor courtyard). The place was immaculate, very tastefully decorated, and spacious enough for our small family of 3. Car Parking was also available and good. The host is a fabulous communicator and was extremely gracious regarding our extra requests. Can’t recommend this studio apartment enough. So glad this was available to us on the booking app.
