Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandIt's very close to Gatwick but the walk isn't one a solo woman traveller would want to do at night. I took an uber - 20 pounds.
It was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Good tea with milk, coffee, a hairdryer and other useful touches. The host was helpful and friendly.

It was very very clean! Very easy to get into and the host sent us all details step by step. Spacious, even the bathroom! Tv was logged into all apps so we was able to relax and watch what we wanted.

The location is a nice neighborhood and was an pedestrian friendly 20 min walk from LGW airport. Check-in and communication was super easy. The suite was very cozy, clean, and well appointed. If you stay here, be sure to make the 10-15 minute walk to Ye Old Six Bells pub for a meal and a brew.

Excellent accommodation close to Gatwick airport at a good price. You're usually held hostage if you want to be near the airport, but this is fair priced, in a pleasant, quiet location. A nice, if a little confusing walk from and to the airport. Newly refurbished property, very clean, with tea/coffee facilities and a good shower. I'll definitely stay again.

United KingdomDespite the spacious bathroom the shower itself is rather small. My broad-shouldered hubby had real difficulty to move around in it. Since there seems to be enough parking space to cover the rooms, it would be convenient, if the host allowed prebooking for that too - to take out the guess work of the night. Other than these tiny inconveniences, there is no negative I could mention. We would book again.
It is a very clean place, to the point that it feels brand new. It is especially convenient if you have an early flight from the airport the following day. The centre is a 15 minutes walk away, should you want to go out for dinner, as we did. The instructions for the key safe and on how to get in are clear as well. There is a driveway where you can park for free during your stay if there is a place available - we got lucky. There is a polite note in the rooms asking guests to stay quiet after 10pm considering most of us are there for early flights not to party. The long stay parking for the airport is very close too. Despite the location we were not disturbed by air-traffic noise either. On top of it all, there was a little coffee/tea station and complementary water in the room as well.

A fantastic property and rooms, we wished we could have stayed longer but we were due to fly first thing in the morning. Right from the very clear and easy check in details to the standard of the room we were extremely impressed. The property was easy to find and had ample parking. The room was very well equipped and immaculate with a very comfy bed, tea making facilities and even two bottles of complimentary water. We would definitely recommend to others and hopefully stay again next time we fly from Gatwick.
