Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Poland- Very old decor, the hotel needs renovation, and many things either didn't work or were worn out by time. - It was quite noisy outside the window due to the pub located there. - Very poor Wi-Fi that kept disconnecting, regardless of whether I was near the router on the patio by the reception or in the room. If someone wants to work or use the internet freely via Wi-Fi, this hotel is not suitable. Additionally, there are major issues with Wi-Fi access in the area; in all nearby restaurants and cafes, the Wi-Fi was very weak, even though I had the latest equipment.
- The option to choose a hot meal from the menu at breakfast. - Excellent location – next to the city center, with many restaurants, shops, and pubs nearby; additionally, it's a 5-8 -minute walk to the train station, with convenient access from the airport. It's also close to Etihad Stadium, you can walk by foot. Also taxis are in front of the hotel's door. - Very comfortable bed.

United KingdomThe room was a little warm at first, but it wasn't too bad towards the evening. I did find a piece of chewed gum on the window, sil at the time I stayed.
The beds were amazing and cosy. They felt clean. And I felt safe it was in a lovley location.

United KingdomIt's not even a ' something I didn't like', it's got a cute 80's decor, with the wiring to match, so not many plug sockets.
So, the hotel itself doesn't really look like the photos, nowhere near as bright, and I almost missed the entrance as it's just one door...but, what a great stay. It was an inside room, so there were no windows, so there was a fan in the room. Lots of lights dotted around the room. The bed was comfy. I was chilling for a few hours before going out, the TV had lots of channels to choose from. Had a great sleep. The shower was a bit stiff to turn on, but it was really powerful and lovely and hot. I booked breakfast when I got to the hotel. The continental was buffet, plenty of choice, but my favourite thing is I could order the hot breakfast, so it came fresh to the table. I had veg full breakfast. The staff were nice and friendly. The hotel is perfectly placed in the city. Would definitely recommend.

United KingdomCurtains not black out so very bright in room at night, coupled with noisy central location meant sleep wasn't good. Also disturbed by fire alarm at 4am.
Basic but perfect for what I needed, comfortable bed, spacious room with desk, good shower and clean facilities. Staff were friendly on arrival and checkout. Good veggie options at breakfast

IrelandNoise from rowdy youngsters. Room outdated with not enough plug sockets and bath too high to get into if you're not very mobile. Cold draught coming through window as it didn't close properly.
Locality was central. Beds comfy. Bathroom big enough.

United KingdomI thought it was strange to be charged £5 to leave your luggage as can't book in till 3. Never ever came across this before. It would be better to build it in to the room price. It would be understandable if it was after you booked out, if you needed to store it, but not when you arrive. Apart from this no problems. W
Hotel was nice and close to all the amenities. Plenty bars and shops close by. The room was small but clean. The breakfast was lovely and good value. Hotel a bit tired could do with a bit updating. Staff very helpful and polite. Would stay again.

United KingdomThe WiFi did not connect very well to any devices , the speed was low when it connected finally. I was told to come to the lobby for better connectivity especially at night, but after a long day at the conference one wouldn’t want to sit in the lobby and work. I would prefer to sit in comfort of my room and carry on.
The location , everything so accessible , rooms were clean

United KingdomThe room had no window. Was roasting and although there's a fan in the room, I didn't want it on overnight (noise ) Was claustrophobic. Eyes didn't adjust to pitch blackness. Had to leave toilet light on overnight as a lady of a certain age who has to pee in the night and didn't want to trip or stub toe in the dark.
Staff were friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Continental buffet and hot food was freshly cooked to order. The reception and dining area were really nice. The location was good, lots of bars and food places and close to tram stop and picadilly station.
