The quilt was a little small for 2 tall adults. 2 singles or a queen-size quilt would have been better. We managed with the extra blanket and bed cover. Don't trust Google Maps directions - took us down the narrowest lane we've ever driven on and host confirmed there are better ways via High Street

Spacious and comfortable self-contained unit with a beautiful outlook onto the garden. Modern and stylish furnishings and lots of storage. Felt like home away from home. Was a short bus ride from Bath City Centre or more leisurely scenic walk along canal (highly recommended). A lot of information is provided in a folder for guests. Parking on site.

Perfect location! Parking outside, beautiful annexe to stay in with everything we needed and an accessible gorgeous garden. Host was very friendly. Lots of hustle and bustle when visiting tourist places, so very calming to come back and relax. Hihly recommend as a perfect time away.

Just the automatic fan in the bathroom stayed on for a bit too long time after using the bathroom. Driveway was a bit snug to get down - we hired a Vauxhall Corsa & it was fine

Private accommodation tucked away facing a lovely garden, bright and airy. Complimentary treats & fresh flowers were a nice touch! We walked down 5 minutes to catch local bus into Bath city - recommend the Thermae Spa for a rooftop Bath mineral pool experience (take bathers & footwear)

There is nothing not to like about the Garden Hideaway but be prepared for a fairly steep and narrow driveway down to the property. There is alternative parking on the public road if preferred.

Fabulous location for visiting Bath. Easy access by foot, taxi, bus or self drive. The property has a very comfortable layout and delightful private views and garden down to the river. Jane keeps the property immaculately clean and the inventory is as comprehensive as you will find. We travel extensively and in our opinion this is among the top 3 properties of this kind that we have stayed in. You will not be disappointed.

    Nothing.

We loved the garden. It felt really homely with some beautiful personal touches. Host was very friendly and accommodating and was generous with what was available for use. Ie tea and coffee. It also had a washing machine and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. This was our last stop after travelling around Europe for 5 weeks and it was our best stop.

The traffic in bath...! We happened to pick the 1st weekend of the Christmas market.... 🤦🏼‍♂️ So it was complete carnage getting out of bath after an early-ish start.

Jane and Thierry were lovely! And the hideaway was so welcoming and spacious whilst being bijou. The surroundings were so peaceful and quaint as well. Overlooking a lovely frosty garden on a cold winter morning whilst toasty and warm brings a whole new dimension to life.

The property is self-contained and was beautifully done up for Christmas. It was very clean, everything you could need was provided for. The extra touches made it feel like the perfect getaway from it all. The hosts were available to us if we needed anything, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The house is modern so you aren't really lacking for anything. It is far enough away from the city to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet. But close enough if you wanted to spend some time exploring. There are even a few beautiful walks from the property. I only wish our trip was longer.

The property was well set out, very clean and a lovely place to stay, it had everything you could need and more. Jane was very welcoming, friendly and couldn’t have been any more helpful. Lots of lovely little touches such as fresh flowers, a little Christmas tree in the living room, biscuits and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for when we arrived. The hideaway is situated in a lovely little village and a taxi ride into Bath city centre was only £10. We loved our weekend away here and would definitely recommend it.
